The other day I saw someone with the name, Cpt. _____ _____. Sorry, I don't remember the other two parts of his name, I just remember the interesting Cpt. part of his name.

I decided to make another pirate with the name Cpt. Jen, but it wasn't approved. I'm just wondering how come his was approved and mine wasn't?

Edit: Other pirate's name was approved as Jenny. Still not allowing the Cpt. part.

They probably believe that it's too close to your real name. Even though a lot of odd names get approved, and some that just may be RL names, they sometimes get more strict. That's all I can really think.

I don't think that's the case, because they approved my other pirate, Jenny.

Technically, they aren't supposed to approve names that already have titles in them (Captain, Admiral, Commodore, etc.), but a lot of the times they do anyway. I'm sure some of the POTCO name-approvers are stricter than others, so it depends on who gets the name. If you want, you could try to create another pirate (or send in the name for this one, if not named yet) and try Capt. Jenny again. Maybe it'll be approved this time.

I agree with Davy, it's all on who gets to look at your name on Disney's end and in what mood he/she is.

I tried a name "Daddie Long-Legs" Denied. Then i saw someone named " Daddie long legs" I was like, 'What!'

i took me 12 times to get a name approved for me newest pirate 12!!! and none of them where bad or anything some of them idk how they get through.
