I think ur exactly right, because at the end of the 3rd movie there was very few crewman if u looked carefully. And i remember about like what 100 on the ship? Like barely anybody were on it. or am i wrong?

The game is set between the 1st and 2nd films. Look at the time line. Elizabeth is not in jail. Beckett is talked about but never seen. There are other ways of telling.

But, the real question is -

Will Disney move the game beyond this narrow time loop its stuck in? We need to.

You can not conflict with the movies... I.e. In game Jack Sparrow cannot be killed, neither can any of the movie characters, nor can we kill the Kraken nor Davy Jones.
