I absolutely agree that the Pirates section of the wiki is in need of updates. And we do have some great editors that are trying their best to catch up with it all. However, they do work on a volunteer basis and life does get in the way at times. With that being said, we are always looking for new, good editors to help out! I can't guarantee that all will be accepted; but if you wish to apply, please see this thread: How do I join Disneys Online Worlds

The most important aspect of it all is -- send me your application.

I think I will apply. Plus I hope you know there is compettion with another wiki out there.

The purpose of the wiki's is not to compete with one another - it is to help share information with the POTCO Community as a whole, to keep them informed. No need for tensions between them

The reason for the strict application process is to "weed out" any pirates that may be unreliable in terms of providing factual and helpful information. We need pirates who know their way around the game, and can gather a lot of information quickly. I tend to dedicate at least a few minutes of my game time grabbing a little snippets of information, and then writing them down here or there.

And, please realize that the POTCO section of the wiki is highly understaffed. With everything that's been going on in RL at the moment, I find it hard to indulge myself in the game, let alone update the Wiki. Don't think that it isn't a big issue for us, mates - we're trying as hard as possible.

This is NOT about competing with the other Wiki. After all, if that were the case - why would I be campaigning here?

But, Del - you understand my point. A little snippet here and there doesn't help the fact the Wiki needs MAJOR overhauling.

Weeding is understandable, but the Wiki should NOT be a political issue. It is information to be shared and the players here don't benefit if its not helpful or easy to use.
