Different rep for same Vets?

I tried searching the forum but couldn't find the answer, so I'll ask the question here. I've noticed when I'm "bowling" on Kingshead, even though all 6 Veterans are lvl 18, I get different rep points for killing them. Same Vets, same grenades, yet I may get anywhere from 5 to 13 points for each one. Why is that? Is it related to the number of hits it takes to kill them? I can't tell which ones I've hit how many times when they all clump up together, so I can't say how many times I hit each one.

The number of hits DOES affect your rep. Its weird, the more hits it takes to kill something the more rep you get.

Yes it does i have realized that when i use my voodoo doll against alligators in cuba i know they are low lvls well for me they are (i am a lvl 20 but i dont have grenades yet) Anyway when i use my voodoo doll and i use fire then curse then poke then swarm if needed and i get like 6 rep and also out of the weapons i have ( sword,hand cannon,voodoo doll and dagger) My voodoo doll gives me more rep
