They changed the dolls?

Tonight while getting potions I noticed they replaced the silk doll with a "Witch" doll for 8000 gold. The description says it adds 4 to damage. The cloth (which I already have) adds 2 to damage. Is it worth getting?

Or do I keep saving for my War Galleon with a small hit for the 3 barrel pistol when I level that next (because I am getting that ASAP).

Save your gold for the pistol and ship. I haven't noticed much of a difference with an upgraded doll.

Upgrading weapons is really only for people with a large surplus of gold.

Buy the upgraded Pistol and Cutlass. The pistol is great because it is triple barrel, and the cutlass looks plain awesome.
