basic access needs

this is a quick thread about what basic members dont have but should and im not talking about give them same things as unlimited im saying some things they dont have yet but should be able to

1. get a light frigate 3 ship slots makes sense they should be able to get 3 different types of ship
2.they should be able to get mebbe one more weapon type not sure which
3.they should be able to use weapon skills from crude weapons

i cant think of many others but if you think of any please post them and if you think the ideas me or someone else has put are stupid just say

to start basic is where it should be it is a sneak peek at potco it gives u just enough to get you hooked then to go on u have to pay it's fine the way it is

I do agree, you should have access to the Light Frigate. It makes sense. As for weapon types, I think they should stick with Sword, Gun, Doll. Ehh, its controversial. Some people want basics to have more, some the same, some less even.

I think the Light Frigate should be basic, for it is essentially USELESS now.

Why should Basics get more? Sooner or later people are just going to complain again after they give Basics more content. I say keep it the same forever because it's supposed to be basic not advanced and not moderate, but basic.

Well, I wish basics could change up their skills without having to max out at 3 skill points per skill. They should put a little loophole like if you were a paying member for x amount of months you can adjust your skill points to the fullest extent.

I would love to have basics being able to use all ammo's for cannon defense.
it wouldn't change the game much, since not many people can make it past wave 7, which means you probably cant even use mine yet. and since the rep you gain doesn't count into notoriety, for people who do love cannon defense, they would be more tolerated for being basic and can make it further, not having "locked ammo"

The Light Frigate makes sense, as I never see anyone who is unlimited with it; as soon as you get to level 7 (I think), you're out there buying a regular frigate.

Extra weapon: no. As others have said, it's called basic for a reason. So you don't get everything and want to pay for it all. It's a business tactic, essentially.

Weapon skills from crude weapons I THOUGHT you could use. For instance, healing and Not In The Face? I've been able to use them.

Now please note, I do speak from a basic access standpoint. In all honesty, I think what basics have now is a pretty fair amount. Do I want more? Of course! I'd love to be able to use my grenades or my dagger as basic. But should I? Speaking from Disney's business standpoint, no, I should not. I'd rather have less and have more people paying money so they can have more, which in turn leads to Disney having more money to spend on all sorts of awesome development for us, rather than give basics more, have people pay less, and have less content.

@Crest. That sums it up. Again, we want basics to be able to have enough stuff to be able to play happily for a while, and later realize "Hey! I could have even more of this cool stuff if I paid Disney!". If basics have too much, there will be no point in upgrading, which means no $$ for Disney.

I think it should stay the same, but if unlimited gets the 5 or 6 new ships, then maybe give basic the Light Frigate. But that is all.

And just to point out Disney Doesn't HAVE to have a basic access i'm just glad they do. Lots of Online games don't you know?
