Wallpaper keeps changing - Pirates of the Caribbean Online Fansite & Forums

Its weird. Whenever I log out, the wallpaper I have set, whatever one it is, changes back to the default POF Wallpaper. Mods.. little help plz? Thank you in advance!

It does happen to me too, sometimes. Could be a little bug.

Do you mean the skin? If you are logged out of the site, it will revert to the default skin. After you log back in, your chosen skin should be shown again.

That's not working for me. I keep getting the default style.

When you log out, it reverts to the default, then stays there when you log in until you change it again. If you don't log out, also leaving the remember me box checked....and simply close the window or go to another website...your settings will be saved and whenever you visit the site you will be automatically logged on..with the settings intact.

It's not a glitch, it's how the site works.

It doesn't matter. You can easily change it by scrolling down.

Sorry, I feel as if I was quite vague.

I have it set to Jolly Rogers right now. When I log out, it reverts to the default style. If I log back in, it stays the default style unless I manually change it. It didn't used to do this.

Try the following, as the best I can guess it's your cookie causing it.

Check "Edit Options" in your UserCP to see what your default style is set to. If it's set to the Forum Default or Jolly Rogers, it should automatically switch to Jolly Rogers when you log back in. (It's set as the actual default skin now.)
If that does not help the situation, clear your cookies (or at least all cookies pertaining to 'www.piratesonlineforums.com', then log back in and see if it restores itself properly.

After a while vB cookies seem to take on a mind of their own, so it may cause the change.

Thanks Jack. Went to my User CP and did what you told me to. Set it to sunken treasures. Works like a charm now! Thank you again.
