El patrons lost sword

What is the best way to get the lost sword of el patron. ive been trying darkhart and timothy dartan for about a month and i havent gotten it. people say darkhart is the best but he hasnt helped me at all.

I got the El Patron Sword off of Darkhart myself, it takes alot of patience and a little bit of luck to get the good stuff.

Try following my theory, it's gotten my 3 good weapons so far:
Use pistol, lead shot, doesn't matter what kind - repeater I prefer.

Do not use blunderbuss, the shorter in time you kill him the lower the rating of the look goes (for me anyway).

The longer it takes for you to take him down, the more likely you are to get better loot.

Also most people try this theory and just give up, you don't wanna do that. Keep trying and trying it. After all, it's worked for me.

thanks for the tip. i realized that if you have a few people help you you get better loot than when you kill by yourself. i got my famed weapons with help from friends.

so, will their be any more lost weapons..? because personally, i think it would be awesome to have a lost staff. and it seems as though jolly hasnt used the weapons power yet. ( unless that power was the muertos moon, THAT WAS AWESOME!!!
