I only watch it when its International teams. (Country Vs. Country). I follow scores and stuff of all the world leagues but I don't watch the games.

A social networking site was exploding today with "GO USA!!!"s etc. I think it was just because we were playing England. I've never heard any of them care about soccer before.

The US support has been increasing from Cup to Cup. Specially since the MLS is putting a lot of money in the US league and the whole US Soccer structure.

Ah, knew it would end up a tie. I had to quit watching the last... 15 minutes. 1-1 eh? Some pretty close calls for the shots England was taking. Wanted them to win.

I hate all this soccer stuff. Im in Germany right now and I dont see how a bunch of grown men find it fun to run around get smash faced and sing fußball songs in the street. A few weeks ago, due to my luck, My wife and me took a train ride about 4 hours long. In the first two trains it was full (sardines in a can full) of fußball (soccer) fans drinking (at 9am) singing songs, laughing and hooting at women, the people sitting at the oppisite window of us happen to hear us complain and talk in english we got called "die schieß ummies." Which translates to "the %&$/ Americans" (even though my wife is full German.) There wasnt enough room for people to get in at the next stop and when some fußball fans where laughing at the family and the family told them off ^^ not to mention there was police, the German riot control follwing these people around hearding them like sheep to the stadium, luckly they didnt stay long but when they left I was saying "get out, and faster." Then our freinds ( the people who said schieß ummies) said we can go slower haha. My wife yelled a very vulgar German word for shut up and he went away with his tail in between his legs.

Go USA!!! Watched the match last night. Was great. It's so much fun watching Rooney take like 5,000,000 shots. I think the final count of his shots was at 5 or something!!! Haha he's a great soccer player. Britain is lucky to have him playing for their team. Have you guys seen all the newspapers and articles about British Goalkeeper, Green? I feel bad for him. So much publicity after that one mess up. Oh well.
