OK I love the sword weapon. I am at level 23 sword now but have only found level 20 highest sword. Is there a way to get higher level swords?

Congrats to Tom first of all....can't be a pirate without being able to handle a blade!

Samarah....you need to take on a few yellow and red level enemies to find good rare cutlasses and such...but you can buy higher level swords at the blade shoppes...Kings is a good place,,,you should use a crew though...ships are dropping loot pouches right now with nice rare swords too...Good Luck!!

Yes congrats Tom! that is great! and thank you so much for the info Seafox! I do usually always try to go for the red and yellows because they give more notiery. How does one be a master of the sword? Where and what is Darkhart??

Darkhart is a Raider Boss on the back of Padres. He ranges between level 28-35. He can be hard to defeat by yourself, depending on your level. There is one way to get there, which can take a while. First, go through Beckett's Quarry. Go in there until you find Dragoons, then just run in a straight line until you get to the exit. Next, you have to go through El Sudoron. No buildings or anything in there, so all you have to do is run through. Finally, you will be on the back of Padres. You will see a Gypsy Boss called Undead Timothy Dartan. If you go to the left when you see a brigand and a sergeant fighting, you will see some shops. Go past those, then turn left. There is a little arch type thing that you have to go through. Go through that, then past a little gate, and you will be at Darkhart!

As for your other question, one masters their sword when their sword reaches level 30. It doesn't matter what level of notoriety you master it, just as long as it is at level 30.

Now, I DO want to congratulate Tom for mastering his sword! Big accomplishment mate, be proud of yerself.

Thank you so much Nate for these directions! I am at level 30 now and I will try to find this Darkhart. Thanks for the info on the sword master level too! I am at sword level 24 now and steadily reaching 30 as I use my sword more than any other weapon. Many Thanks!

I found the Darkhart and tried to battle him alone but was defeated each time...I am level 33. I came so close tho lol... And I have finally mastered my sword! YAY!

Congrats Sam! Big accomplishment at level 33! I mastered mine at... I think notoriety 28. Nice job though!

Darkhart is hard to defeat by yourself at that level! Keep trying though, you will get him eventually!

That's the attitude! Keep trying, trying, trying. Once you get around, 36-40 it gets easier. After that, it is like swatting a fly. Have fun!
