Selling mishap
I knew it was gonna happen... sooner or later.
Well, I keep me inventory well organized, I have my weapons on the bottom slots in the "Old" order, say Cutlass, pistol, doll, dagger, 'nades and Staff and a couple of each on top by category from the highest levels except for grenades where I put sailing artifact on top since there is nothing else for grenades... the rest of the spaces above get filled during normal drops... fool proof, eh? Think again! So much for my organized skills, mates! I was in a hurry selling, mind you that I keep a close eye to what I gather as the drop occurs, I mean, how can you miss it!? and watch what I sell,,, well, on a single motion I sold something priced 1,1?? gold!!!, it was NOT a relic, it wasn't blue but I just can't recall the color, I just saw the 1,100 plus gold selling price as I pressed the selling button,,, it wasn't anything that I already had since I keep all me Lost Relics items but something that I just got and yet, somehow slipped through me fingers during initial collection, keeping in inventory and selling it... HOW ON EARTH!!! But I sure did! Oh man! It's bothering me to death !!!! So that's it, mate! Watch yer sticky fingers... |

You probably sold a quest weapon. The bloodletter and other staffs that are the level 20 requirements sell for a pretty penny. You can repeat these at any person with a map above their head and clicking the quest upgrade you want to do.

I'm with you, beware as you sell! I accidentally sold James Barbossa pants right off him. Course they can't get them back for me. Sigh. Watch yourselves guys! Take it from one who knows. LOL

Aha! There's only 3 swords I know of that giveover a thousand. Either a Seven Seas Cutlass,a Black Shark Blade, or a Lost sword of El Patron.

This is why I line up all the weapons I want to keep on the top half, and anything that I don't want on the bottom half.
I'm not sure what you sold. Just check everything right before you put it in to be sold. I haven't accidentally sold anything yet, but I'm sure I will at some point. |

Relating to clothing, I keep a couple items of each category from LEFT to RIGHT.
In the inventory sheet, clothing starts with the hat, coat, vest, etc... so I keep the ones that I want to the left followed of the same, say, (hat, hat, hat) for 3 hats then (coat, coat) for 2 coats, etc... then as drops come in it starts to fill up from the top, so it's very easy for me to track. I have not saved any clothes drops yet, I sell all I get, I'm no much into changing me pirate's appearance. Relating to weapons, I placed the most powerful of each category on the very bottom slots in the old F1 keys order, like Cutlass first, pistol second, doll third, etc... then the ones I want to keep above each category so I have rows of weapons in order. Way cool and easy to track! My mistake came when I was selling insanely as I explained on the original post, my suggestion!? Well, if you caught a drop that's a keeper move it to your final holding spot and then take an extra split second selling so you don't make the same mistake. |
