How to take a Screenie?

I have recently gotten an iMac and am not sure how you take screenshots with it. F9 isn't working, so anyone know how I take them on this computer???

You have to do these steps

System Preferences
Keyboard
Keyboard again
And then check off the box that says: Use F1, etc. keys as standard function keys.

But if you want to use them the way the iMac has them without constantly changing have the settings set above and whenever you want to use an iMac key hold down the fn button.

fn + F9 if you are in full screen

You could always use the PrtScrn button ( If you have it ). It takes screenshots of anything - ingame stuff or not - and then simply paste it onto Paint. Save As, name it, and you're good to go ( This is how I do it, even though I have my F9 button good to go as well ).
