New Enemy Ship AT LAST

As many of you know or do not know, there is a new ship out there. It is:

Navy Bastion
Lv59-61 War Galleon
*Similar to the Navy Colossus, though not exact, it uses Firebrand as the upper deck cannons, and I believe Round Shot as the Broadsides.
If there is anything else you guys have discovered, please share it ( I know there's a new ship that appears during the EITC Fleet events, but I have not participated yet, and do not know what it is. However, I know it's a War Frigate that uses Explosives - thats all I know ).

This ship appears between Port Royal and Devil's Anvil, between Cutthroat Isle and Port Royal, and Cuba and Port Royal, as well as beyond Cuba itself.
Edit: Also between Anvil and Tortuga.

I tried to add a picture, but it is not uploading for some reason. I'm working on getting a picture that works at the moment ( The amount of files I can hold at the moment is not full ).
Also, if you find any new land enemies by any chance, do tell.

Happy Hunting!

Edit: An EITC ship with the same design as the Navy Goliath, is called:

EITC Intrepid
Lv79-81 Ship Of The Line
*Also uses Firebrand and Round Shot, just like the Bastion. However, these are extremely devestating, so if you're thinking of taking that Light Sloop out to see, it won't end well for you.

EITC Tyrant
Lv69-71 War Frigate
These bad boys are like Juggernauts. Firebrand for the Deck cannons, and Explosives for the Broadsides.

EITC Leviathan
Lv79-81 Ship Of The Line
Similar to the Intrepid.

EITC Conquerer
Lv79-81 Ship of The Line

What makes the back-up ships ( Tyrant ) so powerful is:
*It moves very quickly, even without it's sails. It's as if it has a working engine.
*Unlike any other ship, the EITC Tyrant has a MAJOR firing range. It can fire at you from meters away.
*Their damage is very devestating, so be warned, do not solo these guys. There are usually four of them around the Ship Of The Line ( Whatever it may be for your case ). All of them will begin to slaughter you with Firebrand if you just shoot ANY SINGLE ONE of the whole group of five ships. Chances are that at this point, you're pretty much dead.

Very cool. Can't wait until these hit open.(They are on the test server, right?) The EITC ship reminds me of the Goliath, as you said.

Hopefully with the release of that EITC ship we will get to sail a ship like that later on in the game, or buy one.

The feeling's mutual. And yes, t'is on Test only, at the moment.

I would dearly LOVE to sail a ship like that - even though it would put the odds against Juggernauts, it SHOULD even the odds with the Intrepid and whatever other EITC ships pop up during the Fleet's appearance. I like how these ships are the only ones to break the NPC Ship level cap of Lv45 ( A Juggernaut's highest level ).

My newest addition to the Favorite Ship list - the EITC Intrepid - is found only during the EITC Fleet events, which are on Test, at the moment. There are other ships that appear during these events, as well, but I have only see the Intrepid so far. Follow the dotted red line, they're somewhere along the line.

The Intrepid, as well as the others, take FOREVER to sink. You only do a very small amount, even if you use a super-powered Explosive, you'd probably do || damage to it. Imagine how long it would take to sink it - plus you only get to carry 12, so doing || damage wouldn't help much ( Though it could help ).

Ahoy mates - as CT said the Goliath style ships only appear during the Fleet Event. There is only one of these ships at a time. (Intrepid or Levaithan or Conquerer) This is the target ship that must be destroyed. It will have an escort of 4-5 Tyrant war frigates. The Fleet will travel the path on your map and you must destroy it before it leaves the Caribbean.

No one ship can take this fleet out. Like the Invastions you need a fleet of pirate ships to do this and there will be casualties.

Geez..I'm gonna visit the locker...AGAIN!!!
Seriously though, from what I have seen these ships are definitely dangerous. Fighting them with strong crews & other ships does aid in your efforts.

Captain Whale

And if you take the Ship of the Line out first the treasure is transported to one of the Convoy. I don't know whether this makes any difference to the treasure bounty at the end of the battle.

Please excuse my wandering ideas here but... If they have these ships which unlike JR have actual (very high) levels... Is it possible we may see these ships out in the open water some day? Not as part of the fleet, but solo? Is it possible we may be able to buy, after warships, Ships of the Line? (Yes, quite certain it would require another level cap raise an a major one at that. Also a gold cap raise or elimination. I'm guessing these ships would be insanely expensive.) Just a random thought here.

And this should be about the point we are able to purchase ship upgrades and customizations to help even out the playing field when the fleets hit open servers.
