The Helm going Test

The Helm forum was created for all the beta testers to have a safe area to discuss the beta phases of POTCO. Since the beta phases are ending, this will soon become the forum for POTCO's test server discussion. Everyone that was in Beta will automatically have an account to the test server. Just use your normal login for POTCO to gain access to your test account. A few threads will be moved while others will be archived soon. Hope everyone enjoys their new test account for POTCO!

Hey everyone, most of you have probably noticed that lately we've had two threads for test release notes posted for the past few updates, one in the news forum and one here in the helm. We've have a few users request this as we have done this on some of our sister sites for quite some time, and I thought I would explain what the difference is between these two threads.

News Articles:
The threads posted in News Articles are posted for everyone to have general discussion about the updates added to the test server. Pictures of new features, what you do/don't like, etc. should be posted in that thread. If you are a tester and would like to share some pictures of the new features there you are welcome to, just try to keep bug discussion out of that thread. (Unless of course, it is a known issue posted with the release notes. This is an exception to the rule since it is in the release notes and thus falls within the main topic of the thread.)

The Helm:
The thread posted in the helm will have "Discussion" at the end of it's thread title and in itself implies what it is, a discussion thread for testers. This thread is for the testers, and solely testers, to post about bugs, major crashes that may impede other users ability to test, etc. Any general discussion posts that would better fit in the News Articles thread will be moved there, unless they have also been posted in that thread in which case they will be deleted.

This should clear up any confusion as to the difference between these two threads and their purposes.
