Treasure Map Invasions?

Cant remember what it's called, kinda like doing the Black Pearl Boss Battle anytime you want.


I know, the invasions are still pretty new to the game, but just in case they do decide to stop doing invasions. Wouldn't it be kinda cool if we could do invasions from the treasure map thingy? We can do it solo or with a crew. Maybe reduce the waiting time for an invasion to start to 10 or 20 minutes?


Just something i thought up, not much to it. if you have any ideas or suggestions, feel free to post away!

I like the idea, but I don't think it would happen. I'd prefer another thing like the Black Pearl Boss Battle, that would send us to a separate area.

That, IMO, is a brilliant idea.! We need more treasure maps! I think at the start, you/your crew would take a vote and decide where it will take place... Majority would rule!!

There used to be a treasure map game in beta 1 i wish they would bring back. You had 2 forts, one for each crew. Cannons on top of both. Object was to attack the other sides fort, steal their gold and return it to your fort. Side that stole the most gold won. Played it a few times, it was always a blast.

if POTCO is done with the pdf invasion, they could make it a treasure map thing, but for protecting a town or something as the others have said.

The Capture the Gold game or whatever is was called sounds really cool! Why did they get rid of that?!?

I think it would be interesting to see Invasions as a Treasure Map type event, and I assume that Lookout would set up to fill a game with a certain number of pirates to make it challenging but not impossible. Maybe even set the size of game you want (20,50, 100+ pirates).

Or how about Endless Invasion? No Jolly Roger - just continued WAVES of skellies until they finally overwhelm you! See how long you can last.

And just to throw a new idea into the ring here, I know there was talk of doing a BB where pirates could also play the defenders trying to stop the Black Pearl from escaping, but what about a Fort vs. Ship. Two teams, the fort would have more guns and defense, but the ship has the advantage of movement, etc.

Also, a REAL TREASURE HUNT would be cool too. Random list of clues that lead you from one place to another and eventually dig up a chest with a reward.

I've mentioned this idea here before as a guild versus guild idea. Never knew they had had such a thing. Can't believe they dropped it. This might be one to push for as it seems they already have it developed to some degree.

I would love to see some Guild vs Guild games. The fort vs fort one sounds awesome. It would be another way to get guilds and pirates to interact with each other.

I think that they can't make a treasure map invasion, since it would be hard to get alot of ppl (which is one of the reasons why invasions are in the game). But instead, something we have ALL been waiting for, the Kraken Boss Battle. This oculd be something like... fighting the Kraken on The Black Pearl, and it should be breaking the sails, parts of the ship etc. like if it was a real Kraken, with realistic movements, and so that the grape shots could finally be used for something, it should be the most effective ammo against Davy Jones' pet. After that, you should get a chance to repair, and fight a flagship know as the Dutchman, when you board it, there should be alot of Sea Beards, Thrall Captains and all kinda of Davy Jones' crew. Then, Davy Jones should come out of the cabin, and we should be able to fight him, he should ba a lvl 55 Boss. I know, long, but the longer, the more fun, aye?
