POTCO mentioned in New York Times
An article today in the New York Times business section talks about the growing popularity of virtual worlds for kids.
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/12/31/bu...3cb&ei=5087%0A It mentions POTCO a few times plus has a video link to the POTCO commercial, also mentions Club Penguin, Webkinz, Toontown, etc.

"Second Life and other virtual worlds for grown-ups have enjoyed intense media attention in the last year but fallen far short of breathless expectations."
LOL that's because all the adults are on POTC and TT! Yup I even have a Webkins to play with my daughter ![]() Nice to see they are coming out with a Cars and Tink site. Maybe I can get rid of my kids TT account (that she rarely plays) and move her into game like one of these (she's 6) Now if only Disney wouldn't rush these things. I hope they have learned something with both TT and POTC and will take their time vs trying to grab our dollars before it's ready! Holding my breath? Nope! |
