A Bug that Is a Bug

I saw this in Lava Gorge. The compass said there was a dread scorpion there. I didn't see the scorpion, but I did see this.....



If it had a shadow, where's the scorpion?

I have seen this bug...
Thought it was a new enemy!!!

Its just a glitch. The scorpion is just glitched underneath the little walkway, and can easy be lured out with staff/pistol/grenade from the bottom floor. But still, thanks for posting it, and this shouldn't be a problem once the new caves come out.

Actually neither my staff nor my pistol could find it.

Hmm, strange. Well, heres what I usually do. I take out my pistol, and stand on the area of the floor on the first floor, a little to the left of the steps. Then I move in to the little indent near there, and whip out my pistol. From there, I just move it around at the section of wall the compass says its behind, and just wait until it locks on. The scorpion usually moves back and forth, so once it gets in range, and I get that nice red circle, I fire away and reel it in. If that doesn't work, I'm actually not sure what to do :P How that helps

I find the same thing with the vampire bat in Davy Jones locker, Aka under General sandspine. Don't know how this happens , but I think it's rather strange.
