Has the Boss Battle been dumbed down?

I think the BB is defintely inconsistent for difficulty, I've been with 2 people and done it! Been with 8 people with good rep, done it before etc... but sank!
But on another note I would say getting past the high level officers is the hardest part.

The boss battle IS consistent, its just that the combination of pirates that enter it isn't, the boss battles difficulty is based on how many pirates and what levels they are. with 8 level 40's it will be more tough then 2 level 25's.

The BB deffinately alters the difficulty depending on the lvl of pirates on it. We did it with a crew of 19, 26, and 31 and only one side of the bridges fired at us until the last set and then finished it last nite with a crew of 19, 19, 22, 26, 33 on test!
