Interesting card games

OK, hopefully I'm not unleashing some big secret, like the DaVinci Code, but did anyone else notice something when playing poker last night?

If it happened to you, you'll know what I'm talking about.

I was expecting the forums to be abuzz about it this morning, but maybe it just happened to me.

I played a bit yesterday for a quest but I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. What's up?

Well, I played for a while last night on a Quiet world against only NCP players. For a long time, all was normal. However, I soon noticed that the NPC folks quit folding. EVER. They would call my raises forever, and even raise themselves a lot. If I got a good hand, I would win 4-5K gold. None of them ever folded. I got up from the table, sat back down ... same thing. I had probably played for over an hour when I noticed it - my ship is currently lost at sea so I didn't have anything else to do.

I would win 1K+ pots and they would all have K-high or A-high, yet none ever folded. I can now afford my War Frigate .

This happened the other day when a friend was trying to transfer gold to me (she was full and wanted to work weapons) None would fold! Drove us nuts as many times I had nothing in my hand so the NCP's would win. We just switched oceans and all was well again. Just like there are different NCPs with different playing styles in different oceans maybe there is an ocean or two where they just don't fold???

Last night I was trying to give gold to my husband, and the NPCs wouldn't fold again. No matter how much we kept raising, they would call. My husband had the highest hand possible given the cards that were showing, so we knew he would win. So we just kept raising until we got up to the amount I wanted to get rid of. One of the NPCs had Queen high!

The day before yesterday I played poker and not only did all 3 of the other players never fold, but also whatever I bet it never deducted anything from my gold. Wierd but very profitable indeed! I could just bet away like crazy without fear of losing anything.
