Crabs, Skeletons, EITC and Navy Beware! - July 24, 2009

Avast ye Pirates! This be the last weekend to make your mark as the Strongest Guild in the Caribbean! Let's take a look the current standings as we head into the last weekend of the competition - remember, you've got until midnight, Sunday, July 26 (Pacific Time) to prove your guild!

Check out the progress guilds like Black Bart's Krewe have made, Bart's Krewe went from #12 to #6, in a few short days, while the Emerald Sea Gang pushes Spania out of the the #4 spot! Our tricorn (hat) is off to Pirates like Rachel Tresurewrecker and Beth Macstack who still rank in the top three, but Pirates make way for the aptly named Pirate, Invincible Warlord of the McRaging guild, he's beat down a whopping 81,433 enemies since the competition started. This is a warlord you want on your side!

Congratulations to all - but keep up the fight mates, there's still time to knock those other guilds out of their current position!

*This list provides a status of the current top 40 guilds. Competing Guilds must still meet qualifications for the competition: Guild Masters and Officers must not have any account violations for the past 60 days and the guild should also have at least 75% of their members in good standing, with no account violations to be eligible in the final ranking.

Hehe, Good job Partners! We may have gone down one, but we're still in this! Remember, we are a fairly new guild, with not even 30 members yet. We are matching up to guilds with over 200, 300, even 400 members. It just goes to show we really are PIC til' Death! Keep up the hard work guys! We're almost there!

By my calculations, there are more than 3,600,000 GUILDS in POTCO.

Now look again at who's in the TOP 40. All the guilds there are within the top 1%.

Aye, there's the rub.
With 400 plus members, one lowly BAB (Basic Access Bob) with an ill-chosen rudeness might have knocked one's guild out of the placings.
Or maybe ye olde Guildmaster was "reported" for giving witty (though acceptable) banter back to some Bleub.
Aye, they'll try and steal the Mickey out of ye...

Nice job, BBK! You guys were beasts this week! And look at Rogues of Fortune, up 13!! Little disappointed the ETC moved down 1 but we are right behind the #28 guild so anything can happen.
