Confused

Ben Flatts has told me to smuggle a barrel of rum to royal, what does this mean? I've gone to Port Royal and nothing happens, and even there no ray of light, nothing. What do I do?

You need to actually sail to Port Royal, not just teleport there. Actually, you can get around it by teleporting to Port Royal, getting on your ship, then immediately dropping your anchor again. But you must be on your ship at Port Royal in order to smuggle anything there.
