Telling New Poll?

Most often the polls on Pirates Online dot Com are merely diversions at best, just ways for us to see how we think compared to our fellow pirates - similar to the polls here.

But, the most recent... asked Which Villain would you like to see more of?

Lord Beckett
Jolly Roger
Davy Jones
Higher Level Bosses

Now, it struck me that perhaps the developments guys are actually looking into bringing us some new baddies to cut down. The likely answer is the fourth option - easy to do (just crank up copies of the existing enemies).

But, could they be considering adding Davy or Cutler Beckett to future updates? I dare NOT get my hopes up.

From what my friend learned from a dev., they're trying to get Davy Jones and Lord Beckett out at around the same time. If you ask me, most pirates would prefer one out now, and another out later; am I wrong?

What is VERY interesting is the listing on Internet Movie Database for POTCO. It shows a voice actor for DAVY JONES. But, I believe the listing is a bit dated. But, having either - let alone both would be a boon to the game...

and they'd better hurry - the list of folks bailing is growing.

Unhappy

I rarely believe any of the results Disney claims they gather. They will put in what ever they have planned, and portray it as what the people wanted. I do hope this means a possibility of some story quest updates. There is so much in the movies that went on with the EITC, Davey Jones, The Kraken, The Chest, and The Locker... there could be 3-5 possible story quests created from that. If they toss every thing in at once, they will really write themselves into a corner. Now on the other hand, they have the ability to create story lines just from the game to do with Jolly Roger...and other game created enemies or obsticles to deal with. I am hoping they put together some more movie related story quests, then toss in some in-game only story quests to give us a wider variety of things to do. I will not hold my breath on this though, with the new info on the Armada of The Damned coming to light this week POTCO could become the "red-headed step child" of the Pirates of The Caribbean Disney games...
