Questions?
Ok I have not really played for a while since I have been busy but a few questions about weapons.
I am a level 9 pirate unlimited access and a level 8 cutlass. How do I get fancier swords or the ones that can do better moves? Is there anyway I can train to get daggers and stuff like that? And what do I do if I try to train in the old warehouse on port royal but it wont let me? THese answers would be greatly appreciated! Thanks -Cannon` |

No swords really do better moves: the swords (and practically every weapon aside from grenades, seeing that grenades are the only weapons you actually burn through) have five levels, the first being the one you start out with, each doing a bare 2 damage more on a move per level. The second sword can be bought at level 5, pretty cheap. The third sword can be bought at level 10, for maybe 1500-2000 or so. The fourth sword becomes available at level 15, and you have to go through a quest to get it. Same for the fifth sword at level 20. It's a lot to pay for or go through for an extra two damage per level of sword (not level of skill though). The notoriety you get from the quests will really slow all the weapons down, so I'd get them when mastered.
In the blacksmith (any blacksmith), there is a trainer there who can retrain skills. Each time you retrain skills for a weapon or post, it costs more than the last, till you've retrained so much that you reach the max cost. I don't know whatcha mean for the third Q. Hope that helped. |

When you get your weapons to level 5 and 10, you can buy a new weapon at the appropriate shop. When you get your weapons to level 15 and 20, you will automatically receive a quest to get a more powerful weapon. As for getting new weapons in general, you unlock them as your notoriety increases. You get the dagger unlock quest at level 10, grenade unlock quest at level 20, and staff unlock quest at level 30. Also, you won't be able to train in the warehouse... only killing enemies will work.

What do you mean by retraining? I try to train in the blacksmith and he just says mumbo jumbo to me. I skipped training in the beginning. But it won't let me.

Oh, yeah, that training in the beginning was only so you could learn how to apply skill points, do a combo, perform a battle action, etc.

Retraining is just re-allocating skill points.
