the gun why should i level it up it is so bad cutlass and voodoo doll and dagger are so much better do i need to level it up???? and it is hard to level it up. i am level 16

The way I play, gun is probably first priority. Doll can take care of any soldiers. Gun takes care of everything else. This probably is noticed first when you come to the part of killing brigands, can be done solo with pistol.

Keeping some of these other skills at lower stats helps level, later on quite a noticeable differance.

Yes, you need to level it, and yes, it is important and will serve you well later on. Shouldn't be too hard to level if you keep only one skill point in each skill. If you neglect it and only level your other weapons, you will regret it later on.

The pistol is one of my favorites. It's your first range weapon. You can use it against all things non human and avoid a lot of damage, especially if you back up while shooting. I've also found that if you fire your shots fast it slows the enemies attacks down considerably. For me, the pistol is one of the easiest weapons to level.

Everything needs to be leveled for various reasons:

Increased health, passive skills, new quests, more powerful weapons....

The pistol is darn right bad when you get take aim maxed out.....very powerful weapon later in the game.....

The pistol is good to lvl up.. I leveled mine mainly on outcast.. a couple of stumps and a gypsy to heal you get the job done.. it can be tedious.. but not nearly as tedious as leveling those grenades lol

Aye, I like the pistol. Silver and steel shot can do a lot of damage with take aim.

i made a new pirate the other day and im gonna not use any weapon but my blades because a good dagger is a happy dagger same with swords
