Bah!
Guys, my computer was hacked into. The virus dudes have guaranteed me they can fix it, but it may take awhile. Kids, let this be a lesson... when your antivirus expires and they ask you to renew it, DO IT. And don't do it a week later and after you notice something funny running on your computer. It's a lot cheaper than making calls for tech support.
Don't know how long this will put me out of commission.  I wish I had some rum right about now...     ***** Haha, Basil, you didn't remove a brand name. You moved something a little bigger than a brand name. I removed the brand name, though.

Bad news, guys... my computer is beyond repair. I don't have enough money to buy a new one at the moment, so I guess this is goodbye for awhile. I'll miss you guys! I'll check in here frequently.

Yeah, system recovery was a total bust, even. I had the laptop for 4 years though and went through two memory replacements and a hard drive replacement (and a screen replacement and a new disk drive, but those were my fault, tehe).
But a bit of good news, someone felt sorry for me and bought me a new laptop. Should be here by Friday!
