30 plus guildmates: over an hour and a half of game time each: plus a few who popped in and out: doing nothing than push each other down the hill and into the water!
Not a point of rep, not a single coin of gold earned, in over 45 hours of game time!

What a great guild we have!

Thanks to all those who contributed gold, and Grats to Cute for her new War Frigate! (And I think that some people helped out Fantasy, too!)
There is still gold to be given away, Sarah and Basil are still maxed, so let us know if you need some.

Grats to the winning team for getting Big Max to the water first, and the second place team pushing Jeffery was right on their heels. To the new members who had a harder time of it, especially those pushing Rose:: As I stated in another thread here on POF, pushing is an artform! You guys had a disadvantage in that your entire team was new at it.

Now for some news:
Now that some of the senior pirates aren't maxed gold anymore, how about a pure Plunder Party for next Tuesday?
We should be able to get 3 nice size crews out at the same time, going for nothing but the gold! Start time between 8 and 8:30 Eastern, end time when everyone quits!

Thursday, Feb 5 is the War Wenches one year anniversary, Some of us have already committed to being there, Bella has invited the entire guild, so mark it on your calendar, and be there if you can. Bella is also going to make that her Boss Battle, and has some other events planned. Around 8 Eastern. And if Bella, Piper, or one of the other WW/DW members can keep us posted here, it would be appreciated!

Tuesday, Feb 10: Guild nite is special again. Feb 11 is the one year anniversary of The Elite Circle, our parent guild, from whom's loins the Dueces Wild sprang! So, another major party night in the works!

Then; The event that I have been hounded about; The second DW Scavenger Hunt!
I'm going to do this one a little differently, since we learned so much from the first one. It will be a 2 nite event, Feb 17 and 24. For more info, please see the separate thread that I will post specifically for it. I will try to post that thread later today or tomorrow, so that everyone can start planning!

AS ALWAYS, If you want to schedule a major event in your pirate progress, a BB, Mastering of a weapon or Notoriety, full Master status, etc., and would like to do it with the entire guilds' support, let me or Sarah know, so we can put it up here for one of the guild nites!

OOooo... the New Port Royal will probably be out by then... wonder how thats gonna affect the hunt!

Next Tuesday, Feb 10th:

The one year anniversary party for TEC, our initial guild.

Speed Boat (Sloop) races!
Tug Boat (War Galleon) races!
and two different Pirate Obstacle Course races.

(Looking for three people to volunteer to help me organize and keep every thing running. Means that you won't actually be a participant, but a coordinator.)

I have the stuff basically arranged, but will need some help making it work.
We will try to organize the different events so that most people can be in at least 2 different events.
More details will follow later this week.

Tonight:

Bill is Mastering!
Approx 8:30 Eastern.

Tomorrow Night, Guild Night events.
One year anniversary of The Elite Circle.

Speed Boat Races (Sloops, Any size!)
Races will start with Pirates aboard their sloops at Tortuga. On start command, they will sail out, to the left of Devil's Anvil, (Anvil will be on the right side of the ship as they pass.) Then turn slightly right to go all the way around Port Royal in a Counter-Clockwise direction. (PR will be on the ships left) and straight back to Tortuga. First one to check in on the Tortuga DOCK, wins.

Tug Boat Races (War Galleons only!)
Races will start with Pirates aboard their WG's at PDF. On start command, they sail out to the right of King's head, circle around KH in counter-clockwise, sail in between KH and Cuthroat. Full clockwise circle around Cuthroat, and back in between KH and Cuthroat, back to PDF. First person to check in at the volcano wins.

Obstacle course 1
Start at the entrance to King's Run on Port Royal. (The tree by the graveyard.) First person to exit from Wicked Thicket (The cave on the beach) wins. Once you enter the cave system, no exiting till you come out of Wicked Thicket.

Obstacle course 2
Start at the front entrance to Perdida cave, the one that leads to Scary Mary. Come out the opposite end. Set sail to Tormenta. Enter via the entrance that leads to the pool, exit form the cave by the little shanty. Set sail to Outcast. First person to check in at OC wins.

I tried to come up with events for both low and high level pirates. Low levels can do the Sloop races and run thru Port Royal, High levels can race War Galls and run O'course 2.
Tug boat races and Obstacle course 1 will be held at the same time.
Speed boat races and Obstacle course 2 will be held after the completion of the first two events. This way, each person can be involved in 2 events.

WHEN SAILING: no use of Full Sail or Ramming Speed is pernitted!!!

Gold will be given to those who win/need it!

Those who volunteered to help, I will PM you later today with specifics about what we will need to do.

As normal, we should start sometime around 8:30 Eastern.
