Is This a Good Idea?

I thought of an interesting idea.....A marker on ur map showing the location of crew mates' ship/player, no matter where they are on the server. It will make it slightly easier to find friends in crowded servers along with their ships when you want to hop on if theyre close to a certain island. Is this a good idea?? plz post!!!!!

First, your assuming that they want you to know where they are and second it is my understanding that there is a location area in the new update that will at least tell you where a player's current position is (if I was informed correctly). It doesn't tell you on what server I don't believe.

I think it would be a good idea if the new upcoming player information (currently being tested) would reflect the server/ocean (and perhaps the room/island) another pirate was on when viewed, however I dont think it would be that big an advantage to tell them an exact location. I think with their attempts to make pirates intereact more, it doesnt need to be so specific to encourage pirates/mateys speaking to one another.

There is actually a friend locator in the game already its called Teleport.

There are "other" online games that utilize this feature. I'd say it does come in handy. Is it in the top ten, in my opinion no. There are far more features I'd like to see added prior to that.
