New Boss Battles Ideas

For the next boss battle, what are some things you guys would want. The Kraken is an obvious choice, and the most likely candidate for Disney to use, but does anyone have any other ideas? Maybe something on land, like raiding an EITC secret base or destroying a graveyard Jolly Roger uses to make skeletons? Or maybe something from the movies, like fighting Beckett's Armada?

that would be sweet. i really like the raiding the EITC's but i would like to see the eitc as more of a potent threat. they arent as keen of a threat as Jolly & Possy, and i would like to have more things like a threat from them raiding tortuga or something to provoke an attack on say, Kingshead Peak.

Insteand of a ship boss i would like a charecter boss instead like mercer. if u have ever watached POTC3 or played the game (about the movie POTC3 not the game) you would know he was the guy in all black that got split in two by davy jones.

Or somthin like that.

I think battling the Kraken would be a cool boss battle, along with a Black Guard one, they talk about the black guard, but you never see them.

I wish there was a boss battle where you and your could be on foot and fight Jolly Roger and his army. Of course, that would probably never happen lol

Well, this may take time and relate to further quests, i think a new island should be made, accessible to certain levels or after certain quests are completed. It could be instanced or not, that would be up to disney.

Island Details:

A beautiful island over whelmed with trees and flowers. Surrounding beaches make the island glow.
Further in, however, the trees begin to die and the flowers are rotten.
In the center of the island is a huge waterfall, with a secret cave behind it.

Enemies:

new: undead monkeys hanging in trees (they attack in swarms)
wild dogs/cats, like bobcats and such (main dogs attack alone, while smaller ones attack in packs.
island natives (crazed "indians" Ex: Native Headhunter, Native Healers)

recurrings: Scorpions
Crabs on the beach
bats deeper in the wood

Bosses (2):

After reaching the waterfall with your crew, a cut scene occurs. You and your crew relax after finding treasures that you came here for (this could be the reason you came to the island in the first place). Suddenly a sea monster (maybe kraken?? nah they already have him for something i suppose. If anyone has any ideas for the monster please post) explodes out of the water! Forcing you and your crew to use ranged attacks to make him dizzy and fall, resulting in melee range access. Repeat a few times and he sinks back into the pool and a stone walk-way apears in water leading to a now cleared secret tunnel under the waterfall. Inside is a large ship, surrounding it is gold and treasure. Their is regular level enemies around that you must defeat. Upon boarding the ship another cut scene occurs. JOLLY ROGER!!!! You and your crew must fight off his minions as well as himself. But, as your about to kill him another short cut scene shows him grabbing a crew member and holding him hostage. He than throws him/her towards the rest of the crew and he teleports off, allowing more battles and curses to be done by him ( i dont know that disney would want to rid the game of him)

I know, I know. They can't even release new quests in a time mannerly rate, so this idea is WAAAAY far-fetched! But, someway, somehow I just needed to get one of my many long, dragged out ideas onto paper (aka POF). Thankyou

One thought I had was the Kingshead Jail... the secret, unused one at the top of the main fortress.

How about a BUST JACK SPARROW OUT OF JAIL BOSS BATTLE?

Your pirate leads a crew into the fortress. Once you step inside the jail, the scene changes where you must fight a bunch of Navy and EITC - then face the main prison guards, maybe even a super tough warden.

ALL while protecting Sparrow!

I think it should develop more of Davy Jones into the game. Maybe after the Kraken, there could be a quest about retrieving the chest. The boss battle could be fighting Davy Jone's crew on Isla Cruces and the boss could maybe be Norrington.

Busting Jack Sparrow out of Jail... That's awesome. I never thought of that one. Fight your way in, fight your way out! And why not have the Black Pearl standing by to sail away on.

Actually to build upon that, since this is the second Boss Battle. How about, you sail the Black Pearl to Kingshead along with 2-4 pirates ships providing cover for you. You'll need it because the Navy and EITC dont want ya to get there. The crew from any ships sunk along the way will be in jail with Sparrow as well. So, once you land they know you're coming. Complete melee! Like I said, fight your way up to the jail, free Jack Sparrow an your other crew members. Then, fight your way out to the dock. And... sail off into the sunset.


Until a tentacle appears out of the water....

Kinda like in the commercials, where there's like 600 navy in the fort, and you're fighting them with backup.

I like that idea.

Hi, im new here at the POTCO fourms. I did not know where the Ideas Or Suggestions fourm was at,so I put it here,and i thought this would be the most related one. Ill post some boss battle ideas soon. Give me some of yours!

Id like a Jolly Roger Boss Battle, for fighting Jolly Rogers skeleton army, then jack sparrow is the Undead and you have to fight him to be normal, then fight the lvl 40 Jolly Roger.

Heres a EITC Boss Battle.

For your next to the last task, you will go to Elizibeth Swan on Port Royal. She will tell you about the EITC raiding. And after you talk to her, you go outside. You see a army of EITC men coming your way. Lord Becket is in the front. Lord Becket: "Haven't seen you in a long time, Jacks friend..." You gasp. Then some pirates come up (This is your crew) and helps you. You fight 33 EITC men. Then Lord Becket says "Gah! You pirates are good..." Then he runs to his lvl 40 EITC War Frigate. Its called the Malestrom. You have to fight it. Then when you sink it, Lord Becket climbs on your boat and says "Its the end for you...PIRATE!" Then, you have to fight lvl 30 Lord Becket. When you destroyed him, you return to Elizibeth Swan. Then she gives you a new weapon skill for your sword. Its called "The blade malstrom." THE END.

Here's mine:
Ok you start the boss battle. You will do a cutscene with the same Navy Guards from the BP Boss Battle cutscene, but they will argue about something else, and the place will be different.

After this cutscene, you will board the Black Pearl again, and you will be greeted by Navy Dragoons ( Lv29-39, random levels ) and EITC Assassins or Mercenaries, random each time
( Lv29-39, random levels ).

Defeat them, and someone must take the wheel.
Man the cannons.

You will be greeted by a fleet of Marauders, 1 after the other ( Sink 1, and the 2nd will appear ).
You will be able to move around while battling the Marauders.
All Marauders at Lv25.

After the battle, similar to the BP Boss Battle, you must break down a Fort.
This Fort uses Firebrand.
The fort will be like this:

Then continue. You have 2 ways to go:

Which ever way you go, you will be greeted by an Ogre. Sink it.
You can always go the other way and sink the other Ogre.
Both are Lv31.

When you reach the second Fort when you go left, the Forts will be made of steel, none of the ammos are effective against the Forts. But, there IS a weakness.
This Fort uses Thunderbolt.
This Fort will be like this:

The only way to break this Fort down, is by shooting Thunderbolts at the Lightning Rods:

When you see 1 Lightning Rod burst in flames, throw an Explosive Shot at it to destroy it. Do this to both, and the Bridge will fall.

When you pass this Fort, you will be at the Final Fort.

If you went to the right of the First Fort, you will be at a Fort with flames all over.
This Fort uses Firebrand.
It looks the same as the Left Second Fort.

To break this one down, you must put out the flames. To do this, shoot the water near the Forts ( Round Shots and Siege Charges into the water would be most effective ).
All cannons are ineffective while the Fort has the flames.

Once the flames are out, shoot the Fort with any ammo and the fort's bridge will fall.
Back to the Final Fort.

This Fort has 3 parts ( like the first Fort in the BP Boss Battle ) instead of 2 or 1. Do as you would to any other Fort.
This Fort uses Fury.

Once you leave the Harbor, you will enter a cutscene similar to the BP Boss Battle's Goliath Battle Intro. You will be up against the EITC Bombarder.
This Ship uses all explosives.
Use Take Cover as soon as the cutscene is over, as the Bombarder starts firing at this moment.
The Bombarder's upper deck Explosives take as long a charging time that a Broadside would take.
This ship is a War Frigate, the size of the Goliath.
This ship will be Lv50.
He doesn't do much as long as you don't let a full round of explosives hit you.

When you sink The Bombarder, you will be in the same position as when you sink The Goliath.

When you arrive back on land, talk to Elizabeth Swann. She will award you with a Nova Frigate, an ultra rare, no-where-else-to-buy Frigate.
