Journey of the Last of the Bladebearers Chapter 6

[Captain Gas]

From now on, all new chapters will be posted in this thread so I don't spam the whole story forum.

Chapter 6: Break Into The Fort

As Jack Firesteel's voodoo powers teleported the crew to a large town, he was already tired after using so much of his voodoo power.

Jack thought about what would happen to Jolly's forces, since the shadowy creatures were relentless. But, Del explained to Jack that Jolly has powerful voodoo powers, so
he's probably not defeated.

Gastro examined the crew's surroundings and concluded, "Well, mates, looks like we're in Port Royal, home of EITC trade and Fort Charles. Anyone care to buy me some rum?"

Del refused Gastro's offer and advised everyone to also do so. Gastro sighed in disappointment.

A Navy officer walked up to the crew and said, "Oi! Are ye pirates?" He pointed his bayonet at them in a ready to strike stance.

Everyone looked at each other and in a second, the Navy officer was being carried to the sea. He said, "Wait! What are you doing?! Aah!" The crew threw him into the sea, as he drowned to the bottom.

Gastro looked at his voodoo controlled compass, and it pointed to Fort Charles.

William said, "Fort Charles? What does it want us to do there? Take over the fort?"

Gastro shook his head saying, 'No.' He pointed out that it pointed to the gallows. "It probably wants us to save someone from being hung. Possibly a pirate or an important person."

Jack Firesteel said, "I've got rum! Who wants some?" The crew looked at Jack Firesteel, and he replied to their faces, "What?" Gastro turned back to the crew, "I think I have an idea..."

The crew marched into the fort carrying 12 rum packs, and they were dressed as EITC.

Mark said, "You sure this will work?" Gastro replied back, "You'd be surprised how easily the Navy can be bribed."

The crew marched into the gallows, passing many unsuspecting Navy guards.

They saw a man being hung in the gallows, being tortured in painful ways.

Gastro said, "Okay, guys.. ready?" Everyone replied, "Aye!"

Gastro walked in and said, "Excuse me, sir, we have a rum shipment for the fort we'd like to donate to you." The Navy officer replied, "Great! Just put it right -"
Gastro interrupted, "Under one condition. You release this man from the gallows."

The Navy officer stared suspiciously at Gastro, and changed his expression back to normal. "That depends... how many packs do you have?" Gastro replied, "Twelve."
That was enough to convince the officer to release the man. They walked out of the fort with the man and took off their EITC disguises.

The man thanked the crew, "Thank ye, mates! I am in yer debt. So, you're actually pirates? And you managed to sneak into Fort Charles? Amazing! Anyone who has attempted that never returned. Anyway, the name is Bart Gunshot. If you ever need me, just say the word."

Del replied with a request, "Actually, we do need you." Del explained everything to Bart. Everything about Jolly, the black coated man, and the Bladebearers. Bart accepted, "That sounds like an interesting adventure, mate! Count me in!"

Well, there ye have it, mates. Don't be surprised if I add more characters. Honestly, the black coated man and Jolly will be really hard to defeat if I don't add them. So, anyone who'd like to volunteer to be in the story, just ask! Sorry if I didn't add much detail like Del suggested, but I just couldn't think of much. But, I'll try my best next time.

Chapter 7: True Name

The crew of Partners N Crime was already so exhausted from their past adventures.
They decided they would go to rest, and that they would set sail tomorrow for Tortuga.

Jack was looking around the town of Port Royal, looking for a place to rest. He passed some taverns, shops, and shacks. He thought to himself, Why does all of this look so familiar?

Suddenly, two Navy guards gripped Jack! He turned around and exclaimed, "Wha-!" But before he could finish, he was knocked unconscious.

Jack awoke in a dark, pitch black place. He looked around and said, "Hello? Anybody here?"

Suddenly, a dark figure that looked like a snake came out of the shadows. It curled around Jack and said, "Well, if it isn't the Bladebearer..." Jack was shocked. This snake could speak? I must be dreaming, he thought.

"You haven't been unleashing the true power of light." Jack replied, "W-What do you mean?"

"Light exists with darkness. One cannot exist without the other, yet they are eternal. You see, light represents the happiness, sympathy, and compassion for others. Darkness represents the hate, rage, fear, and jealousy of the inner being. I assume you have been seeing strange things, yes?"

Jack replied, "Y-Yeah."

"Have you ever heard the saying 'dreams can become a reality'? That is true. Including actual dreams. You see, the black coated man that has been following you is darkness. He comes from your nightmares. Remember your dreams from when you were just a little boy? He is the same exact man from those dreams."

Jack said, "Wait.. how do you know?"

"I would know. I am part of your inner being, therefore I know your experiences in your dreams. He is part of your inner being, too. Therefore, he will stay with you. He will find you no matter where he goes. There is only one solution to fix the problem with your stray darkness."

Jack said, "How?"

The figure said, "Remember who you are. Do you remember your true name? You were adopted by another family who just named you Jack. But, do you remember your first and true name?"

Jack said, "My true name... is..."

Suddenly, he awoke from his dream. "Yes.. my true name is... Jack Seaeagle."

Jack had remembered his true name, but something wasn't quite right. He was in a jail cell!

Jack mumbled to himself, "How do I get out of here?"

Another voice from next to him responded, "It's not hard. Watch this." Jack looked next to him and there was another man in another jail cell. The man kicked the jail door four times and it opened! Jack didn't want to mention how ugly he was. The man has a weird face, ugly clothes, and ugly boots.

"Go on, mate! Try it!" Jack kicked the jail door four times and sure enough, it opened. The man said, "Me name is Stealthy Cannoneer, but ye can call me Stealth. I'm a pirate. Are ye?"

Jack said, "Kinda. I've been mixed up with pirate business lately." Stealth looked at the blade in Jack's weapon belt and said, "That's an awfully fine blade ye've got there, mate. It looks Bladebearer worthy." Jack then said, "Actually, I am a Bladebearer." Stealth laughed, not believing what Jack said. Jack raised an eyebrow, took out his blade, and it shot a bright blast at a chair. It exploded! Stealth then said, "Oh.. I guess you are."

As Jack walked out with his new friend Stealth, they ran into a big group. A voice said, "There ye are, Jack! Where have you been?" Jack looked up and it was the crew of Partners N Crime! Gastro said, "Who's the pirate over there?" Jack said, "His name's Stealthy Cannoneer, but you can call him Stealth. Where's Mark?"

All of a sudden, Gastro looked nervous. He looked down and said, "Mark... he's missing." Jack exclaimed, "What?!?! We've gotta look for him!"

Everyone nodded, "Aye!"

Stealth then said, "Excuse me, but can I help? If a friend is missing, I wanna help find him." Jack agreed that Stealth can and said, "Alright, let's go."

Be warned, mates... this chapter is epic and kind of deep, too. Oh, by the way, I'm gonna start to call Jack Seaeagle JS so he doesn't get confused with Jack Firesteel. Oh, and I'm call him JF.

Chapter 8: Mark Captured

As JS, and the crew of Partners N Crime including Stealth were walking along the beaches of Port Royal looking for Mark.

JS was about to open the blacksmith's door, when he heard a panicked voice cry out, "MAN THE SHORES OF PORT ROYAL! JOLLY IS INVADING AND WE NEED YER HELP!" Then, the man tripped over a rock and fell. JS poked him, and he concluded relieved, "Yup, he's still alive."

All of a sudden, the crew heard thunderbolts! JS turned around and saw a tattered ship approaching Port Royal!

Del shouted, "TAKE OUT YOUR WEAPONS! JOLLY IS HERE!"

JS quivered with anger. He angrily whispered to himself, "You... you started all of this. I won't forgive you, Jolly!" He didn't hesitate to take out his magic blade. Stealth was getting ready to unleash his ugly powers. JF was ready to charge Jolly's forces with his mastered powers. Del was devising a battle plan in his head, of course, because of his blade. And finally, Gastro was ready in a defensive stance with a serious look on his face. For some reason, he seemed to be mad at Jolly for something...

Finally, Jolly made it to the docks of Port Royal. He carefully placed his ship still far enough away, so the pirates couldn't ambush his ship.

Jolly then shouted out his orders, "Alright, mates! It's time to take down the Governor's Mansion to dampen the spirits of those pitiful pirates! Now, forward, attack!!" Jolly then cackled after his encouraging speech.

Everyone charged at the surfacing skeletons from the water. JS slashed a skull off of a skeleton, and stabbed another one. They both disintegrated. Del blocked a slash from a skeleton, flipped over it, and stabbed it in the back. It disintegrated. Gastro got ready to attack as skeletons started marching at him. He spun around his body, slashing his sword around. He then came back around with a hard hack. Before anyone knew it, five skeletons disintegrated! JF stabbed at a skeleton, and shot at another one. They both disintegrated into ashes. Finally, Stealth stared at the skeletons and almost ten of them disintegrated!

Wave after wave, Jolly sent his skeletons to attack the barricades the town had set up. The defenders of the island kept succeeding to hold back his forces.

Jolly growled in rage, and finally decided his next plan. "Send out me last mates!"

More skeletons came out of the water, but something wasn't right. The skeletons were easy, but there was someone that stood out among them.

JS then held down his sword and said, "....Mark?" JS ran after him, but this time, Mark didn't seem so friendly. He took out his blade and started to charge at JS. JS said, "Wait, Mark, it's me! Don't you remember? Jack!" He blocked Mark's slash at him. All of a sudden, they locked swords.

JS pushed his sword against Mark, and the blade fell out of his hands. But Mark's blade disappeared in a flash of light, and reappeared in his hand! Mark took a slash at JS, but JS jumped over the slash and countered with a hack. Mark parried the attack and suddenly the two took a slash at each other. Mark was overwhelming JS with his strength, and finally JS said, "Sorry....rrgh...Mark...but, there's more to battle than just strength!" A light emitted from Jack's blade and blasted Mark. Suddenly, his blade was lowered. JS took this opportunity and slashed at Mark. Mark fell to the ground in unconsciousness.

JS then understood why Gastro looked so angry. Gas knew that Jolly had corrupted Mark with evil thoughts, and that Mark was now Jolly's dark slave.

JS shook in anger and said, "That's it! Time to have a talk with Jolly!"

JS then walked into the water and swam toward the skeleton master's ship to confront him.

Chapter 9: Confront Jolly!

Gastro saw Jack swimming to ship and said, "No! Jack, wait! You don't know how powerful Jolly is!"

But, he couldn't be stopped. He boarded Jolly's ship, the Harkaway, and looked around.

Jolly then said, "Well, well, well, well, well, well...." Jack responded, "That 'well' is pretty deep." Jolly replied, "Silence! Do you know the pain of working at a plan for years, finally making it, and failing? You're just one of those people who ruins my plans! Do you know who turned me into this?" Jack shook his head.

Jolly frowned and said, "Jack Sparrow did it! Ye see, when I wasn't cursed, I was a servant of the Brethren Court. I longed for the day that I would have a seat in the Brethren Court... until Jack Sparrow crushed that dream! His father gave Jack Sparrow his seat and I was left a servant! I hired a witchdoctor to help me win a game of poker that I was going to invite Jack Sparrow to. I invited him, eventually, and I kept winning hand after hand. Finally, he bet his seat on the Brethren Court for the next hand. Suddenly, he pulled a winning card onto the table and I lost! I flew into a rage, breaking everything in sight, and pulled pistols out. I knew the witchdoctor had double-crossed me and I shot at both of them. Unfortunately, I missed Jack but hit the witchdoctor. And the witchdoctor cursed me to walk the earth in this form! Do you see the pain now?!"

Jack nervously nodded. Jolly said, "Hmph. I pity you. But, if this is the way you want it... YOU'RE GOING DOWN ALONE!" Jolly prepared to strike at Jack as a voice said, "Not if we can stop you!" Out of nowhere appeared Gastro, Del, Jack Firesteel, William Goldwalker, and Stealth!

Jack Seaeagle said, "Guys! You came to help me!" Gastro replied, "Of course we did! We couldn't let you fight Jolly alone! It's always been all of us and you and Mark! And, that's how it'll stay!" Jolly chuckled and said, "Ok, then... have it your way. More people to fight means more fresh souls!"

Jolly charged at Gastro, and Gastro being the Bladebearer of defense, blocked the attack! Gastro slashed at Jolly, but missed. Del struck at Jolly with a successful hit, and Jolly staggered backwards. Jack Seaeagle slashed at Jolly, combined with Stealth's ugly stare and Jack Firesteel's mastered powers. Jolly fell down in pain.

Jack Seaeagle said, "That's enough! You're the one who changed Mark! Everything you've done was just to amuse yourself!" Jolly said, "Don't push yer luck, mate... because I have a present!" Jolly held out a peculiar stone, and Gastro said, "Oh, no! It's the Stone of Immortality!"

Jolly said, "Tough luck, mates!" Jolly held the stone up in the air and suddenly it granted him immortality! He said, "Now, let's see how well you fare against me!"

Jolly was growing to the size of a giant, and was becoming more powerful! JS clenched his fist and said, "Bring it on!"

Not exactly a long chapter, but that's because I was running out of ideas. But, was it epic, though? Tell me your thoughts!

Chapter 10: Final Battle Against Jolly Roger

Jolly Roger grew up to the sky! Jack Seaeagle and everyone else prepared for their final stand against Jolly.

Suddenly, JS felt a sudden surge of energy flow through him. He felt as if he had the ability to jump to the sky.

He hopped onto the mast and saw the tattered holes through it. He used them to climb on top by using the holes to hang on and to put his feet on it.

He climbed to the top of the mast and stood on the very peak of it.

"Jolly, give up now or face defeat!" said JS in a slightly distorted voice.

Jolly laughed and said, " 'Defeat'? Have you not noticed I am immortal?"

JS smirked and said, "Who said anything about DESTROYING?" He pointed his blade at Jolly's empty eye socket and sent a magic blast straight through it!

"ARRGH! MY EYE!" Jolly cried out in pain. JS said in the distorted voice again, "Jolly Roger, you have been the source of evil in many generations of the Bladebearers! If you give up now, you will not face eternal pain!" Suddenly, everyone noticed something different about JS.... his eyes seemed to glow white and they appeared empty, though they were not.

Then, Del understood. "The spirits of the Bladebearers have chosen him as their acting force since his heart is pure. With them at his side, he won't be defeated. But, that doesn't mean we don't have to help!" Gastro nodded and said, "Let's go, everyone!"

Everyone started to slash at Jolly's hoofs, but they only seemed to tickle him. Gastro and Del climbed up Jolly's leg, and when it threw them off, they used their blade's magic blasts to rocket them back up in the air until they grabbed onto his leg again. Jolly tried to swat them with his hand, but he was so big that they climbed through the small spaces between Jolly's bony fingers. Finally, they made it to his head by using the same method with his body.

Jolly growled, "Grr... get off me, ye bilge rats!" Suddenly, he saw JS coming to slash his head! Since JS was powered up, the slash did more than pain to Jolly's head... it cut right through him!

Jolly screamed in pain and spun around to get everyone off. Gastro and Del held on tight, though they were extremely dizzy when Jolly stopped spinning.

Jack, Gastro, and Del started slashing at Jolly non-stop until they got tired.

Jolly screamed in agony and grabbed all three of the Bladebearers! He threw them off his ship, and they used magic blasts to rocket right back. They landed on his shoulders and stabbed through him.

He screamed again and took two steps backwards. Everyone else started to use their voodoo dolls to attune Jolly, and because there were so much voodoo dolls, they were successful! They scorched him with fire, and shot at him with guns. Just when Jolly was about to make one final attack to win, Gastro, Del, and Jack flipped in the air and when they were falling, they stabbed their blades through Jolly's stomach, and it made a line through him all the way down!

Suddenly, Jolly fell apart and turned into ashes. Everyone started to cheer, but Del said, "Don't be happy yet. He's not dead. He's immortal, and he will come back some day to take his revenge on us."

JS said, "But... what about Mark?" Everyone looked at him and realized the spirits left him already.

Suddenly, a figure walked onto the ship wit his hand on his head. JS looked at him and said, "Mark! It's you!"

Mark said, "Uh... what happened? I feel dizzy..." He would've fallen, but JS caught him and said, "Don't worry, I gotcha." He turned to everyone else. "So, what now?" Del said, "It's not over yet. We have to face that black coated man."

A voice replied, "You called?" The black coated man appeared out of a black hole! "Looks like you've gotten better, warriors of the Bladebearers. Unfortunately, this party ends now." He whistled and the black creatures with yellow eyes appeared again!

The crew of Partners N Crime was surrounded. Then, Del said, "Jack Firesteel, now!" Jack Firesteel used his voodoo powers to teleport them out, and the black coated man said, "Hmph. I'll get you sooner or later. The darkness will be where the light is..."

Chapter 11: Rumors

As JF's powers teleported the crew to Tortuga, Gastro sighed in relief.

Tortuga was the same as usual. The King's Arm tavern was filled with partying pirates, the sand was smooth, the shipwright was repairing ships, pirates were fishing, and most importantly, pirates were gulping down their favorite drink: rum.

Del ordered the crew, "Alright, mates. Seeing as to that we're already in Tortuga, we'd best be heading to the Faithful Bride tavern for new rumors." The crew responded with a hearty, "Aye!"

The crew walked to the busy tavern called the Faithful Bride, and entered it. It was full of rowdy pirates drinking rum and playing poker and blackjack. The only person who wasn't crazy in there was the bartender. Gastro said his name, "Carver!" Carver looked up from washing the counter and said, "Ah, welcome, my friends! What can I do for ye?" Del answered, "We're looking for new rumors to solve. Heard any?"

Carver stroked his chin while thinking. Finally, he replied, "Well.. there is one... but, it may be too dangerous." Gastro replied back, "Not at all! Please tell us."

Carver looked around for any eavesdroppers and found none. Finally, he said, "Alright. The rumor is about an island called Raven's Cove. It is said to contain El Patron's Lost Weapons. They are unique cursed blades, said to be the most powerful in existence!" Gastro said, "Great!" Carver continued, "But... the island is overrun with ghosts from Jolly's recent invasion. The only good ghosts are the ones you have to find yourselves. Plus, the only place you can find the weapons are El Patron's ship. Unfortunately, ye need to use the mines to access it. And, to get to the mine, you need to find the key to an elevator..." Del immediately responded, "I think me mates are up to the challenge."

Everyone nodded, and Del said, "Alright, mates, we're taking me ship, the Victory Shark, to Raven's Cove. Any questions?" Nobody raised their hands. "Good!" said Del with a confident voice. Carver replied, "Before you go, two things. One, be careful when venturing there at night, for there are red ghosts that haunt the living when the sun falls. Second, I think ye'll be needing this to find your way there." Carver held out his hand, and in it was an old map. It contained a never before seen section of the map that contained Raven's Cove. Del took the map, and said, "Thank you, Carver. Until we meet again!"

The crew walked out of the tavern, and to the docks of Tortuga to launch the Victory Shark. Jack and Mark stared at Del's ship in awe. It was a war frigate with many sails and looked like it packed quite a punch.

Del said, "Alright, mates! Let's board me ship!" Jack and Mark were already on it, eager to explore the ship's nooks and crannies.

Del whispered to William, "Psst, mate. Wanna steer me ship? I know you're a devilishly good sailor." Will nodded his head and took the wheel. The rest of the crew manned the cannons and climbed the rigging to prepare the sails.

Will said, "Ready the masts!" The crew untied the masts and with the wind blowing, they were off. Will steered west to Raven's Cove, and the crew had plenty to eat.

Jack and Mark were excited. They have never been on a ship voyage before! And now, they were on one. Gastro got ready to use his sword to deflect any cannonballs, and the moment the ship set sail, he knew it would be a long journey.

Did ye like it? It wasn't very long, but I try my best. Anyways, the crew has a new destination which will be featured in the next chapters to come! Until then, ye'll have to wait for the next chapter! And, by the way, I'm back from me trip!

Chapter 12: Raven's Cove

As the crew stepped onto the gravelly ground of Raven's Cove, Jack shuddered in disbelief.

There were piles of skeletons everywhere, including some destroyed barricades from Jolly's recent invasion before they destroyed him for now.

Gastro motioned towards the crew, "Come on, guys! Let's search for the weapons."

Del gazed at the sky. It was almost dark and the crew had only just ported. They would have to hurry if they were to make it past the red ghosts.

Mark wondered in his mind what a new weapon that was cursed would feel like... he figured he didn't want to know. Besides, he already had his own blade that chose him.

Jack heard a voice echo in the air, and he immediately stopped to listen closer. The voice in the air echoed, "Hurry, little hero... your time here will be short and your darkness is waiting for you." Jack stopped listening after the word 'darkness'.

He ran to the crew to catch up with them, and meanwhile the sky was beginning to grow dark. Del said, "Everyone, hurry! We haven't much time!" But, it was too late... the sky had become the night sky.

The crew stopped in their tracks as they heard echoing moans coming from the jail center. They immediately saw a red ghost in front of them!

The red ghost whispered, "You may not pass, strangers. Now, prepare to die..."

Mark raised his hand and said, "Do we have a bathroom?" The ghost replied, "Oh, sure. It's in the jail." Mark thanked the ghost, "Thanks!"

While Mark walked to the bathroom, the ghost charged at the crew. Gastro blocked the attack and countered. The ghost whispered, "But.. how? You shouldn't be able to hurt me!" Gastro said, "Really? Then, how come I'm the Bladebearer?"
He slashed at the ghost and it cried out in pain. It grabbed Gastro's leg and threw him into some crates. Luckily, Gastro bounced off the crates and flipped into the air to do a downward slash onto the ghost. Suddenly, Jack charged a magic blast and Del prepared to strike. As Gastro hit the ghost, so did Del and Jack!

Mark walked out and said, "Ahh.... HEY! You're having a fight with a ghost and didn't invite me? Unacceptable!" Mark touched the ghost with the tip of his blade and it immediately evaporated. The red ghost became a green ghost and said, "Thank you, mates! I thought I would be trapped in that spirit forever!" Jack lowered his blade and said, "Who are you?"

"I am a spirit who was trapped in the grasp of rage and I was forced to destroy anyone who dared pass me. And since you have freed me, I may grant you two wishes."

Del said, "Our first wish: Can you teleport us to the place of the cursed weapons of El Patron?" The ghost frowned and said, "Are you sure? Those blades are not very nice with their wielders.." Del nodded. The ghost replied, "Very well. Before we go, do you have a second wish?" Jack said, "Wait! Can you tell me where that black coated man is?" The ghost simply smiled and said, "I think you'll find out soon enough."

The ghost teleported the crew to a mysterious ship with a loot skull chest. They turned around and saw a black ghost with a white aura.. Del said, "Guys, the blade is telling me this is the ghost of El Patron..."

Jack turned his head to the right and said, "Hey, wait! The black coated man! It's him!"

The black coated man said to El Patron, "They are trying to steal your treasure. Do not let them get away with it. Yes, let your anger grow.." The black coated man floated onto the bridge leading to the ship and made a force field, blocking the crew from getting to him!

The crew was in for a big fight...

Chapter 13: The Shadow Sorcerors Come To The Rescue!

El Patron whispered to the crew, "You have come to take my cursed blades... I will not let you." He unsheathed his blade and held the tip of it at Mark.

Mark said, "Be careful where you point that thing!" Jack slugged Mark's arm and took out his magic blade.

Del said, "El Patron, please allow us to get your blades! We need them!"

El Patron looked at Del's and Jack's blade and said, "Hmm... these aren't very common blades. Ah, that's it. You are the Bladebearers, aren't ye? I haven't seen your generation since I was alive. But, they enraged me so now I want revenge!"

El Patron slashed at Jack, but he countered with a parry. Del unleashed a barrage of slashes against El Patron and finished with a downward slash. Gastro drew his blade and said, "Well, this should be good." He charged into El Patron and temporarily disarmed him. Mark drew his blade and said, "FOR NARNIA!" Everyone stared at him and he said, "What? I needed a good battle cry."

He slashed at El Patron, but El Patron was attacking at the same time! They locked swords, and Mark got the better of him. He stabbed El Patron, and the ghost staggered. He said, "Foolish mongrels! I cannot die, because I am already dead!" The black coated man then said, "Actually, El Patron, you're not doing very well... I expected you to destroy them, but you're just as worthless as Jolly Roger."

The black coated man snapped his fingers and El Patron disappeared! Jack looked in disbelief and said, "You merciless monster! How could you?!" The black coated man replied, "You were fighting him, anyway. Why would you care?" Jack charged at the man, but the man just used his dark powers to slam Jack into the rocky wall! Del, Mark, and Gastro all charged at him, but met the same fate. Stealth used his ugly stare, but the man deflected it back and knocked Stealth unconscious.

Jack barely stood up and said, "I... won't...give up!" Another voice said, "Don't!"
All of a sudden, a man blasted the black coated man and staggered him in surprise. The man said, "My name's Tiberius Fireskull and I can help you!"

Del said, "Tib.. how did you find us?" Tiberius said, "Easy. Used my voodoo powers." Tiberius whistled and another group came. He said, "HAIL THE SHADOW SORCERORS!"

Chapter 14: The Real Battle Begins

"So...we have more visitors, hm?" said the black coated man. He raised his arms into the air and a dark thunderbolt appeared! It struck as fast as... well, lightning.

It struck Jack Firesteel, and could have killed him if he hadn't been using his hands for protection.

JS, with the help of his magic blade, was replenished to full strength! He ran up to the man and stabbed him.

The man simply chuckled and said, "So, you thought I'd be destroyed? Fools! If you know my power now, wait until you see my real power!" He balled his hands into fists and seemed to be concentrating hard. Suddenly, a dark aura appeared around him! He was growing bigger and slowly changing appearance the bigger he got.

Soon, he was a giant dark beast which had but one purpose: destruction! Everyone gazed in horror as the beast began to speak. "I am Zadarkia! I am the darkness in this world! I will be its new master! I will remake this world and this reality in my own image!!" The beast raised his hands and summoned forth dark creatures with red eyes! The creatures swarmed the crews of Shadow Sorcerors and Partners N Crime, and Tiberius was using his voodoo blasts to destroy the creatures. Johnny Darkwalker was fighting off his own share, while Roger Swordshot was making a voodoo shockwave. Unfortunately, the amount of creatures were endless!

JS was set on his own decision, and decided to face the monster that he had once feared. He set out towards the town square of the barren island and saw the monster waiting patiently for him.

"Let my friends go! Don't make me destroy you!" shouted JS as loud as he can. Zadarkia slyly grinned and said, "They'll make such good dark slaves... the universe will fear me! Hahaha!" JS was getting very angry and said, "This... is where it ends!"

JS was suddenly transforming into a golden armored Bladebearer and he said, "Let's do this!"

Chapter 15: The Super Bladebearer

The golden armored warrior pointed the tip of his blade at the giant beast named Zadarkia. The dark embodiment simply cackled. "Nice change of clothes, but do you think that you can defeat ME?"

Jack said, "I don't think I can... I know I can!" The warrior took a few steps forward. "I get it now... when I was young, I feared you which was what gave you immense power. But, now I'm not afraid of you... and I never will be again!" He floated into the air and flew to the beast's stomach. The beast laughed, "Are you going to stab me? That wouldn't do anything." The golden warrior smirked. "Who ever said anything about stabbing?" He thrust his blade forward, out of the blade lurched a golden blast of energy!

It hit the monster and caused great pain to it. "Grr....how did you gain so much power?!" The warrior simply shot blast by blast at the dark beast. Blow after blow, the beast got weaker!

The beast grew more vicious, unfortunately. He knocked down the warrior a couple times and nearly slammed him into Devil's Anvil!

But, the armored warrior never gave up. He gathered enough power to make a huge light ball of energy and shot it at the weakening darkness.

The warrior intended to tempt the beast at unleashing his strongest move that had the biggest opening. Then, at that moment he would strike and finish this beast off!

Meanwhile, fighting the dark beasts were two crews that were fighting valiantly and viciously. They couldn't afford to lose to the very thing that kept the world from peace.

Del noticed that the dark monsters are naturally darkness. Gastro had also told him that he had fought these monsters before, and that the power of light seemed to be their weakness.

Gastro was defending and attacking at the same time. When one monster jumped at him, he blocked with the hilt of the blade. After that, it would be stuck hanging onto it and he would slam the blade into the ground, destroying the darkness that once hung from it.

Of course, Mark was wondering where Jack could have gone. He had saw Jack go through the tunnels leading into the mines, but then where did he go? Mark couldn't stop thinking about it. At the same time, he tried to keep himself alive from the swarming darkness.

Everyone else tried to defeat the remaining darkness, but they just kept on coming one by one. Then, Del devised a solution that nobody could have thought of.

As the sun shined on his blade, it created a celestial light that would wipe out these creatures from existence. Slowly studying the angles of where the light would go, he began to shine the light on every dark being in his sight. Sure enough, they exploded at the slightest touch of light.

After that, Gastro inquired, "Where did Jack go? He ran though the mines somewhere, but I don't know where he went after that."

Del motioned for everyone to be silent, and he closed his eyes to concentrate with his blade in hand. Suddenly, he opened his eyes and said, "He's at the town square." Everyone scurried along to get to the town square and find out what's going on.

The beast was growing weaker and weaker after every blow the golden armored warrior sent.

Through the warrior's helmet, he could make out figures coming into sight. He readied his blade in case it was enemies, but he realized it was his friends.

Del took one look at him and looked shocked. "W-What happened, Jack? Did you...become a Super Bladebearer?" Jack nodded as if he knew a long time what was happening. He could remember something his father had told him:

"One day, my son...the Bladebearers will come to save us all from certain darkness. They are the definition of light, and have great swordsman skills. One among them will become a Super Bladebearer and will carry golden armor and immense power. But, you may one day assist them, Jack. That is why you must remember to always have light inside of you or else you will turn into darkness."

That is what his father had said. He almost shed a tear after remembering his father that had died. But, he knew he shouldn't do that. Sadness was a negative emotion that eventually turned into rage that would soon meet darkness.

Gastro broke the silence over everyone and said, "Let's end this monster and save this world from the chaos it's been thrown into!"

I think this is one of my best and longest chapters yet. It's not over yet, and will just get more epic!

Chapter 16: Let's End This!

As Jack flew at the monster known as Zadarkia, the crew of the Sorcerors and Partners N Crime tried to cut his legs in half using their weapons.

Mark, shocked at the appearance of Jack, was looking at Bart Gunshot. Bart was just standing there, motionless, but looked like he was thinking.

Mark walked up to him and said, "Aren't you gonna help us?" Bart simply smiled and said, "Why? This world will already meet its doom. You ignorant imbeciles will die one way or another...but not me." Bart emitted a dark ball from his hand. It expanded into a large shield that swirled around him!

It rose up to Zadarkia's face and Bart told him, "Zadarkia! We have no more use for this place...let's leave these dolts to die!" Zadarkia nodded and Jack had just seen what had happened. He stood shocked at the sight of Bart.

We've been betrayed! No, not betrayed... Jack thought. He was spying on us all this time just so he could destroy this world with my darkness! This is not happening... Jack thought.

Jack shouted out, "You won't escape, Bart! You never will!" Bart chuckled and said, "Oh, yes I will...but you won't! This world will end one way or another in darkness...you will end the same way, along with your friends!"

Gastro, Del, and the others had all heard this. Gastro turned around and said, "This might be a tough job, guys...we'll need all the help we can get!"

A voice then said, "Hold on then, mate. Are ye forgetting 'bout someone already? You'll need the last living Bladebearer to win." The crew looked at the man and said, "Jack Sparrow!"

Meanwhile, Zadarkia was preparing for liftoff with Bart. Jack Sparrow then said, "Um, I don't think so, mates..." His blade shot at them, but only Zadarkia fell! Bart said, "Haha, fools! You can't defeat me! I am the true master of darkness!"

Zadarkia heard this and said, "But...what about our deal? You promised me power over all darkness!" Bart replied, "It's only negotiations, mate."

Bart escaped, but Jack wasn't done yet! If they can't stop Bart, then they'll stop Zadarkia. He may not be the true master, but he's still powerful enough to take over all of existence with dark powers.

Jack stood in front of the dark monster and said, "So, darkness, any last words before you come back into my body?" Zadarkia just said, "As long as Bart lives...I live."

Jack just ignored the comment and said, "You're only my darkness. I'm not scared of you." He held out his hand, and Zadarkia was sucked back into Jack. He had gotten the other half of his inner being back!

Del then said, "This world is going to end soon. What do we do?" Everyone murmured to each other for a while frantically until Jack finally spoke. "Guys... go. I'll shield the world from the blast. Only Raven's Cove will be destroyed." Gastro replied, "No, Jack! You can't do that! Let's think of another way, please!"

But, it was too late. Jack was preparing to shield the world from the dark blast. Gastro was about to run after Jack, but Del said, "He's decided, Gastro. Let's not get in his way."

Saddened, Gastro stilled nodded. The crew began to set sail before this barren island was about to be destroyed by the rippling blast. Mark, of course, didn't like the idea so the crew had to hold onto his shirt the whole time, so he didn't try to swim to the island to save Jack.

Mark finally calmed down and looked down at the floor of the ship. Then, he finally said, "Goodbye, Jack...hope I see you again someday."

The crew set sail for Tortuga on the shining sunset and the island exploded before their very eyes with Jack in the blast. The sight was horrible to see, but it had to be done.

Some crew members shed tears, but somehow Del knew they would see Jack again someday. Jack Sparrow, remembering Jack from the town, said, "Good luck, mate. I admit, I was proud of you for fighting those skeletons."

With the last words of all the crew members, Del silenced them. And with that order, the crew was off.

Yup, that's the last chapter of the story. Don't worry, I'm making a sequel, calm down. The end IS kind of sad, but probably not enough to make you cry. I don't want you to be sitting in your seat with tears in your eyes.
