October 08 POF Poll
Well mateys - it seems we have a mighty literate bunch around here. We actually have 11 finalists. In order to make it easier for you to judge, I am putting all of them right here with a unique symbol. 1. Pick the one you like 2. Check what symbol it has on top of it 3. Vote for that symbol in the poll above Swashbuckler II lie beneath yer feat. T'was a mighty glitch master, very elite. Until a glitch backfired, much to his surprise. Turned him into a flytrap, and soon his demise. Here lies Erich the Great, He should have paid attention to what he ate. The rum was tainted, We thought he fainted. And that's how Jones sealed his fate. Below lies the body that once was Black Bart's Done in by the Navy's blackest of Hearts! A Swordsman and Pyrate ne'er again shall be seen The likes of this One who now lay 'neath the Green. If Ye'r dying to know of the Havoc He'd deal Just dig down six feet and you'll find some Foul Steel! a moment of silence please Here lies a pirate He lived simple and free Plundered hard on land Even harder at sea Fully mastered and a belly full of grog Picked a fight with a huge cursed log That mighty stump crushed him flat Rest in Peace Sven Ironrat Here lies Jade Stormspinner Forever in repose Had no gold for tonics She'd spent it all on clothes Combat Lizzy was a wench and a pirate of sorts Wasn't a very apt sailor..she always lost the ports. Her map and compass were thrown overboard Her ship always ended us sunk and sumtimes moored But Lizzy never gave up...her will power was strong Even though the directions she sailed were constantly wrong So in remembrance of this wayward pirate who never ceased tryin Pass the Rum around mateys...there will be no sad cryin Cuz Lizzy luved to partee, play poker, and drink Rum... She mite just appear from beyond and partake in sum 'Tis joy to some and sorrow to others for here lies Nathaniel Warfury whose none to happy about the predicament. no need for a headstone, he deserved what he got, so here lies jack sharkbane, left here to rot. Matthew Ironjaw was a strapping lad, but with the ladies - his luck was bad. He fancied a lass that he taught to shoot, She shot him dead and took his loot! Here lies Gert. Gert got hurt. Doc Grog was drunk. Gert's six feet sunk. Here lies Mary Brave & True Last words she heard? "Part of the ship, part of the crew..."

IMO...some in this final poll are good while others are ok...there were some other really good ones in that whole thread that should've been on this list...
I think next time it should be up to the members of the POF to decide which ones make the final poll and then either have them vote the 3 finalists or let the MODs do it... |

What I meant was that you should've had the members of the POF forums pick the top ones instead of the MODs and then either the MODs pick the final 3 winners or you let the members of the POF pick them...
