Whats the secret?

For some unknown reason (to me anyway) I keep falling off my ship.

When ever I approach the helm, I fall off. Yesterday I was trying to go to Barbossa. Got my ship, fell off, swam to shore. Etc Etc.

After the 5th time. I just decided to swim to the other island. I suppose I could have teleported to the island, except, I had no idea what island it was.

Is it impossible to sail alone? or am I just not getting it?

Do you have a Light Galleon? I've had the same problem with that ship, but haven't messed with it too much yet.

You should have no problem getting to the helm on a Light Frigate, but the stairs to the upper cannons are still bugged.

If you don't get the ship underway quickly the ship disappears (there is message about it that shows up briefly in the corner of your screen) and you fall into the sea. Try running into the water where the ship will be deployed...the left end of the dock on Port Royal...and hopping aboard as soon as she appears, then immediatly go to the wheel and press forward. It can be tricky if you have significant lag.

I know when Toon Town was fun... some of us could go through walls. And the more you did that, you seemed to pick up extra code or something because you didn't have to work at it any more. Sometimes I couldn't even go up stairs.

A lot of the walls in POTC are papper thin, and taking short cuts made it so I was almost always under the game, & the green circles stopped working untill I teleported or reloared the game...

I don't use the short cuts any more, but I hope they are smart enough to sneek some in.
