Application shutdown issues
Anyone else having a problem when shutting down Pirates? When I shut down my game window about 2/3 of the time I get:
Grrrrr... Windows XP SP2 ; Norton *sigh*, Nvidia 7600 GT (newest drivers), E6600

You may want to try uninstalling/reinstalling POTCO. Seems a corrupt file finds its way in there somewhere rather frequently.

Me too, im that other person with the same system.. hehe. I've also on ALL machines that i've played POTCO on, often received a Loss of Internet Connection message when I exit, again with little or no side effects, just annoying. You might try checking any other programs or anything else that may be running in memory at same time. I use Norton Antivirus on all my machines, its not the problem, but other Norton products, like that blasted security suite they sell very well might. |

Happens to me every time Chris. It's annoying. I've sent in countless bug reports, with...SHOCK...no response. I'll just keep being annoyed. Doesn't seem to effect anything else.

Thanks OFx, reinstall's a good idea.
Norton Security Suite... yah the Internet Security Suite, heh. That's what I have, and it is a resource hog. =glib= |

I'd always been a long time user of the Nortons product line (now distributed by Symantec) but that security suite has brought many of our clients networks to a sudden halt (which is why its not one of my favorites for sure) |
