A legendary cannon ram which gives you ulimited fury, chainshot, firebrand, explosive, thunderbolt and grape shot, would be called the ultimate ram

Perhaps it can be only attained if ye reach say... wave 250? or perhaps ye can trade in your unlimited rams (maruader/reverant/etc) into an ultimate unlimited ram?
 This pirate can dream right?

They could if they use another symbol representing an infinite ammo for all cannon ammo. Normally, POTCO uses the same ammo icon that will be infinite with that weapon. Same is true with Critical.
I think the Rapid Reload icon might work in that regard. POTCO borrowed the Chain Shot icon for the Wreck the Masts skill in the Legendary Norrington's Spyglass. Wouldn't surprise me if they have something similar in mind for the next sailing contest (against EITC next year?) where the top 50 winners win a Legendary Cannon Ram. Your idea sounds like the kind they have in mind to do.
