No chat on test?

I signed on to test this evening and a friend was on, so I whispered to her and her response was blank. She tp'ed to me and tried to talk, but the chat box over her head was blank. I assumed mine was blank talking to her too. We had to use speedchat to say anything. Does anyone know if they did maintenance on test in the last day or so?

Hmm, I'm not sure. Just got onto test myself and chat seems to be working.
