What is your favorite weapon?

We pirates have 6 different weapons, each with their own strengths and weaknesses in the game. My question, out of curiosity, is what is your favorite weapon, and why? Do you tend to use each weapon in certain situations more than others? What's your favorite, or least favorite, aspect of each weapon?

voodoo doll bc u can run in circles with out getting hit for the most part and it has life drain which is the only weapon that gives u life back

Oh, I can't wait until staff. 20 more levels to go, I think, haha.

The dagger is my new favorite. It doubles as a gun and a cutlass. I hate the gun because you can't use it on Navy guards, so it feels half useless, yet sometimes you want to deliver that first hit from far, far away. The cutlass delivers the most damage at low levels, it seems like, so I find the dagger a happy medium. (And when you first get it, you sort of get three hits for two clicks, so that's nice.)

Of course, the doll is great too.

I like the doll for land, I just wish you could be like our voodoo enemies and not have to be up in their face for attunement. I mean how fair is it that gypsies and witch dr.s can attune u from across the way, yet you have to be up close? Should be a skill that you can unlock IMO.

Oh I know. I hate that. Even if you run away, they don't seem to lose attunement. It makes it unfair. You can't even shoot them from afar.

yea i know i though it might have been a passive skill but it wasnt >_< its the samething with the enemy ships broadsides

Yeah, thats another thing, how is it they get fire and lightning and fury broadsides, and we just get lead. Unfair!!!

It's also unfair that their grenades do less than 100 damage. Isn't it?

My favorite has always been the cannon. I have been a shooter from day one. So with that, I am lvl 27 with lvl 10 sailing and cannon lvl 22 lol.

Don't understand this. Grenades do tons of damage.

He meant enemies grenades i think, like the grenadiers, who do around 24-46 dmg to me. and they dont even have animation, unless my games seriously screwed, all is see is them standing there, and im being hurt by nothing.

As for me, I like the Cutlass too.

Favorite cannon trick: We got a flagship EITC Sentinel, and pulled alongside to shoot the grapples. I noticed this thug at the wheel of the ship. So before firing the grapple, I took a shot at him with the regular cannonball.

Took his head clean off, first shot!

Yeah, I'm easily amused.
