The first thing that caught my attention is how the traced over the key. Did you do it yourself or a program assisted with that?

The second thing I noticed is that our hp/mp bar looks like from the movie.

No, it is not common knowledge to know the resemblance because I have watched none of the movies before. I wouldn't know if that was from one of the pirates movies or not.

I used a brush in Paint and did it freehand.

Everyone should have it - it's in the top left corner, and you should be seeing something identical to the first picture I posted (with your notoriety, voodoo and health, of course). If you've seen the movies, the key that the notoriety, voodoo and health bars are on is Davy Jones' key, an important object in Dead Man's Chest.

I'm relieved that not everyone knew about this... :P

So what you aqre saying your pirates don't have an XP bar, health bar, or voodoo bar? I'd go see live chat about that...

So maybe it's the "key" to being a lv 50? I've noticed the odd shape, but idk the resemblance to the key!

I realized this not long after I started playing... o_o. So it has obviously been there for a while. And if you look at screens from people playing back in 2007 and 2008, it's there.

Hmm...never noticed that before.

It has always, since the beginning of time (or POTCO at least) been Davy Jones's key. I never really paid great attention to it, but I have always known it was a key. It is a bit tough to notice if you don't look closely though.

@Those asking about the tracing of it, I'm pretty sure Pixie just did that so that we would notice the shape of it.

I noticed this the first time I played. I said "Oh, the HP and Voodoo bar are Davy Jones' key!"
