Visitor Messages

Why not have visitor messages here? I mean you can have them set for approval before they appear to the other person. It's how it's run on another site all VM's go into a mod queue then approved accordingly.

This was discussed a while back. Most people on POF did not like the idea, and we came to a general consensus that it wouldn't be a great idea.

My reply is already posted on the other thread, link provided above. We still have not decided to change our stance on visitor messages.

Well then why not have it that they either have to pay for it or reach a certain post count? That way they are more trustworthy (and less people have them so it's easier to moderate)

this as said above has already been discussed visitor messages would require far too much moderation and work to change the site to allow them to work properly, and besides all of that we already have a perfectly good private messaging system and therefore do not need a visitor message system.
