The Pirate Report rules and regulations(Updated 2/13/08).

If you are here, you've obviously joined the POTCO report. We thank you for joining us and hope you enjoy working with us.

The link to our forums can be found in my profile, and all members are asked to sign up here to post you're stories for editing and help decide on new stuff for all our reports, as well as contests. There are some rules that we like to use though to make sure that we are nice (and readable) as possible to everyone here.

Rules

1. Please get stories in by the due date posted here/at our site. By getting stories in on these dates, you're making it easier on me to make our deadline each month.
2. Try to keep stories around 1-2 paragraphs. This rule is in place to keep our newsletter to the shortest number of pages possible, that way our dial-up friends can still read our newsletter. (I don't think they're are many more dial-up people, but I could be wrong.)
3. Be considerate and nice in the posts labled "The POTCO Report: ..." . If anyone posts being rude or such, I'll work out the problem and alert a mod if the need arises, but I don't think anything like that will be necessary.
4. Do not post any images related to the report outside of this subforum without my permission. Our site and the subforums are the only places that pre-release stuff can be found, as only Report/Insider/Latest members can see these items.

Sub-Forum Rules
After the incident that happened tonight, I will be enforcing this by locking/reporting any threads that this becomes a problem in.
No bashing, flaming, or trolling other members for anything outside of the forums, or in the forums for that matter. If you have an arguement between someone then please keep it in the game.


Also, please remember the POF rules located here during your time with the Report.

Consequences
I can enforce everything below, as it is under my jurisdiction now. Thanks Batleth and everyone helping for the new clan leader systems being uploaded now.

3. Removal from the next issue
4. Removal from next 2 issues
5. Removal from the POTCO report, removal from the sub-forums.

These are the people who will be watching for these actions.

For clarification purposes, is this officially the place to post our rough copies for review? If so, should each column writer create a personal thread for their stories and such? Because I'm not much of a dallier when it comes to this game, or my commitment to this report and as such would like to get some works up for review as soon as possible. Thanks for the clarification.
