Guild Pride Month!

Many many moons ago, when Partners N Crime was just a newborn guild, I decided to open up a little activity during July of 2009 to help spread word of the guild, and show that even a small guild like we had had more heart than any other guild to sail these seas. So, as a way to kick off our Guild Competitions yet again, what a better way to kick it off than to hold the next..

Guild Pride Month!

It's time for all you partners out there to dust off your ships, grab your cutlasses, and take the Caribbean by storm! I know our guild is filled with plenty of hearty, celebratory, and loyal members, so now you can finally let that all show! I have hereby declared the month-long span from Monday, December 27th, until Monday, January 31st, to be Guild Pride Month, a month-long celebration where pirates are to show how proud they are to serve their guild!

You don't need a super high level, fancy weapons, or a spectacular knowledge of computers to participate - all you need is enough imagination, creativity, and determination to tell the world that you really are a partner in crime! In order to compete, you need to send a message to the POTCO Universe about who we are as a guild, by doing something in-game that is so big and outrageous that it will make pirates turn their heads, and wonder "Who the hell are these people!?" But, again, like we already don't do that, eh?

Whether you rally a bunch of Victory Sharks and go on a crowded server, sinking everything in sight, create a ship blockade that runs across the Caribbean, or parade through the streets of Tortuga, it's up to you and your fellow guild mates to show that we as a guild are a strong, supportive, and of course, fun-loving family! It's up to YOU to show me, and all other pirates, that you're proud to be in your guild!

When you do something that you can consider outrageous and guild-related, take screenshots of it, and post it here, on this thread. After the competition closes, I will look over all the submissions, and award the best showing of guild pride with a special award (and no, it's not just a medal )

Rules

-Your showing of Guild Pride must be IN-GAME.
-Do NOT break any of the guild rules for the sake of this competition. This INCLUDES griefing other pirates, making the game less enjoyable for others, etc.
-You may NOT use any editing programs (Photoshop, GIMP, etc.) to enhance the screenshots of what you did. Remember, all showings must have been in-game.
-You may form groups with guild mates to do a specific thing as a group. These groups may also include people and pirates outside of the guild. Redwards will be separated among group members.
-Judging of a showing of Guild Pride will be based on how guild-related it is, how "big" it was (how likely it was to be seen, how many pirates were involved, etc.,) and creativity.
-If you would like to plan a get-together to do something, feel free to plan on this thread.
-SABOTAGE OF ANOTHER GROUP'S ACT WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION!



Although this all is a Partners N Crime Guild Event, I also suggest other guilds to try and do this with their guilds as well! After all, we don't have a copyright to showing guild pride. Let's try and make Guild Pride Month a thing for ALL guilds to take part in!

would some people wanna help me my idea: A bunch of us go to Andaba, Foulberto Smasho and make a line by the entrance to his place all saying " I am proud to be a Partner "or we could set up members each spaced out say 5-10 paces away when you're entering the cave. Ooh ooh! We coul also all make a semi-circle around the ladder coming down to the cave and all say " I'm proud to be a partner ".

I know a few of you in the guild would like some inspiration, so here's a list of the things that the guild did (or at least attempted to do) in the last Guild Pride Competition:

• Abassa Blockade - This idea won the last competition. The guild went to Abassa to form a blockade of ships which stretched from Tortuga to Port Royal. One pirate stood on the beach, telling pirates how to help in making the blockade, while the others were on their ships organizing everything.
• Partner Parade - Partners rallied their friends and pulled off a parade that ran through Port Royal, blasting staffs, grenades, and guns, and chanting guild-related phrases and slogans.
• Sign to the Skys - Pirate sttempted to spell out "PNC" on Port Royal using only themselves. Failed miserably.
• Carollers - Pirate attempted to get together on a crowded server and sing a song, by each pirate saying a word, followed by another, and so forth. (Pirate 1: PNC Pirate 2: 'Til Pirate 3: Death!
• Mass Server Raid - Pirates did an all out, at-the-same-time assault on every single ship and enemy on the entire server.

I am confuzzled! Do I post my ideas here or somewhere else? Or do I tell everyone in-game. I went on and we were doing a guild pride thing but I didn't see it on this thread.

My idea is to make a pirate (name is pending) thats name is P N C tilldeath
and ill run all around abassa... in blissful ignorance of how pathetic ill look! oh well. it still seems fun!

We organized that one in-game. And Speaking of which...

We got together on Abassa, Padres Del Fuego in our Black and Gold guild colors. We got quite the attention, especially since everyone was storming Padres for an invasion. There were comments on how good we looked, how people wanted to join, and, of course, how we were noobs. If you got it, flaunt it, eh mates?

Members of the group from Left to Right: Buck Bankok, Hector Cannonbane, Charles Crestshot, Jason, Werner Von Croy, Grace Goldgull, Charlotte Goldcastle, Pirate Guy, and Alice Darkbane (But unfortunately, Alice kept getting disconnected).
