Honest guild question - Pirates of the Caribbean Online Fansite & Forums

How many players here actually know or understand the meaning of a guild?? the last few days while playing i've noticed many 1 member guilds running around and although thats your choice it's not just a pretty name above your character.... it's designed for a group of players to be able to play together helping each other with quests and taking over for fun all under one name... i'm not bashing anyone just wondering if people do relize it's not just a game feature lol

Where does it say how many members are in the guild? I thought it just said the name of the guild.

it does only show the name but many people i've chatted with in game say they only have themselves as members, i met a player the other night we formed a new guild and with a few hours we have 12 members in which 9 have played all day during the stress testing.. the guild name is scurvy dogs if anyone is interested look us up...

For some reason the name of my guild isn't showing above my head. Pirates keep asking me if I'm in a guild.
Trouble is I don't even know the name of the guild because the guild master didn't get the name approved yet. I think. But shouldn't a generic Guild # show up anyway?

good question but i've seen a few basic access members that have asked to joint our guild and when i click on them to allow them into the guild it says they are already in a guild but there is no guild name above their head?? you don't have basic access do you?
