Question to my fellow Apple users....

I know this is quite off topic but I am needing some help mates.
So... I desperately want to buy the iPhone 4 that just came out. My contract with my former phone company is up and I am finally ready to switch over! Only, I have heard a lot about the antenna issue.. Which really saddens me because right when I'm ready to switch, it seems the phone I've been dreaming of decides to be released with a problem lol. Anywho, my question is this: To those of you who have purchased the new iPhone 4:

1. Have you found that the Bumper was successful in fixing this issue.

2. The new Software Update they are planning to release that is intended to fix it; has it been released and did it work?

And lastly,
3. Despite the phone's antenna issue, what is your overall opinion about the phone?

Yes I am getting one too the problem only happens to left handers

Not only to left handed people, to right handed people as well. You figure you have to hold the phone in your left hand, in order to use your right hand to dial and use apps and such... Let me know what you think when you get yours. Mine won't be here for a couple more weeks, unless I can get an early order from AT&T....

AT&T is the phone company that you need in order to use the iphone.

Oh we have lots of networks for iPhone O2 the original iPhone network then Orange and Vodafone came later

A lotta 3rd party stores like best buy and stuff have the iphone. Just upgraded mine tonight.

Bottom line, bad service and antennae or not, the phone is great. Front and back cameras, flash on the rear camera, great resolution. Only issues I have are Steve Jobs needs to give up and allow flash on apple products, and the facetime needs to be added to the skype application.

I wouldn't get it just yet. Usually when new phones come out that I want I wait for them to see if there are more bugs after the initial release. I would give it some time and they hey, the price may even go down in that time.
