Tips for Relics - Pirates of the Caribbean Online Fansite & Forums

Hi guys I am a person that is always on POTCO and I am always at Darkheart and Tormenta but not a single relic yet am i doing anything wrong here or is it just me?

I am also angry because a guy who is my level LvL 38 he had THREE Lost Sword of El Patron and it was just like a normality for him oh another lost sword better go trash it and he was at Darkheart same place as me please help or is it just the end for me? ( Bit dramatic i know but im mad )

All i can say is keep fighting. I havent gotten a relic for a week now. I have 7 already though, so it isnt like i cant live without the sword. Again, just keep fighting, and good luck.

Truth is, relics aren't tied to any one event. It really is a random occurrence.

I have two relics. One came from a level 29 Flotsam and one came from General Hex in the Misty Mire. I have never really had Darkhart drop anything worth keeping. My advice is to keep moving, keep playing and stop worrying about it. You will get what you get.

The lost sword isn't "all that" anyway. I dumped both my relics because my level 69 broadsword does everything I need it to.

In two weeks of fighting, I finally got my first relic yesterday. And it isn't the Patron sword. So, All I can say is, keep at it, and maybe try other places. And you don't have to go after Bosses, as a previous post states, flotsam can give relics.

We all have the same chance to find something... As in a last thread I posted in, it all depends on timing and being fortunate to find something.

I have hopped from island to island, Tormenta to Congrejos, low enemies to high enemies, it all appears random. I do believe that red tagged enemies will yield a better chance at a relic, but random blasting of different leveled enemies gives you a good chance as well.

I see no real method to Disney's madness, but I try to have as much fun as I can running and gunning through different places. Keep after it, I'll see ya's out there.
