Guess what along time ago when pirates online first came i was there and so were a bunch of other people and they sent everybody an email from GM saying that your part of the founder program and you typed in your password and stuff.

Well i was gone and i never found that email in the files cause of a bunch of spam and i emailed them and they said they couldnt email me another one!

WHAT DO I DO?
Is there a part of the website i did not visit?

Blaster, first, put your posts in the correct forums.

Second, if you signed up for the game in the beta stages, or prior to December 4th 2007, then you are a founder. If you are paying to play, then you should have a gold name. If you did not sign up to play in either of the above mentioned time periods, then you are not a founder. No big deal either way. Pirate is a pirate. Loot Hard

Well I do not know on how you became a founder. I thought you just became one when you payed for Pirates the first mounth it came out. But if you say you had to repley to an E-mail then you might not be able to have the name tag. But Like Sarah said it is just a tag, its not like you get anything different just for having the tag. Just gloting but thats not alot, But the best thing to do I think is to E-mail Pirates Online, and ask.

But there is something very very strange about your story. That you said Disney sent you an E-mail asking for your passowrd? That is not true if you did get an e-mail with that info it is a COMPLET FAKE DO NOT REPLEY!!! Disney has a policy saying they would NEVER ask for you Username or Password in an e-mail it is most likely someone trying to get your acount info. So DO NOT repley to that E-mail. Founders can lose their Founder status. You will remain a founder with the gold lettering for as long as you subscribe to the game. If you stop subscribing, then return in a month or so and re-subscribe, you will now have a blue name tag.

This happened to my ex-wife and her sister.

Capt, if you took time off from paying to play and then re-subscribed, you get your founder status back. You do not lose your founder status. If that happened to your ex and her sister, they need to call D to fix it.

I agree wwith Sarah. I know many game founders who have taken time off from paying. Their name goes grey while they are on a basic account, but they get their gold nametag back as soon as they start paying again.

Also, Ben is correct. Disney would NEVER send you an email asking for any of your username/password info. If you received one like that, it didn't come from Disney.

Founder status was given to those who played on Beta, or joined the game (established paying accounts) prior to December 4th, 2007. Anyone who joined after that, they are not founders.

As far as what does it get you? It gets you a gold name tag, and the black bandana, if you were there for it. Other than that, nada.

All i remember is i payed along time ago and i had a blue name and it was curly.

Ok this all reminds me of my problem. I joined on November 7, 2007, and I wasnt a Founder. To be a Founder, did i have to subscribe when i first joined the game?

Again, you had to PAY prior to Dec 4th 2007.

To be a founder you had to sign up for unlimited access. Basil summed it up.

Yes and basically all they have now is a gold name. Today on test I got the bandana in a treasure chest so looks like it will be coming to open soon.

Actually, the balck skull bandana was offered to all players in Feb(?) of 2008 to celebrate the opening of the clothing shops. It's not a founder thing
