Rules:
1. Up to five (5) people on a war sloop maximum.
2. War Sloops are the only ship allowed. Other ship types cannot be prevented from launching, but their score/bounty will not be counted. The score/bounty you receive from sinking other ship types will still be counted.
3. Any person participating must be on the roster for the event. If a shipmate is late to the event or cannot attend, a substitute may be appointed. The substitutes must also be placed on the roster prior to the beginning of the event.
4. Once the event has begun, all ships must be fully closed to guild and public. Make sure that all team mates are on the captains friends list/crew for reboarding purposes.
5. It is occasionally necessary for captains to be placed in judge crew for starting purposes. Please bare with the judges on these occasions.
6. If you do not stay in the water during the whole event, your score will not be tallied. A screen shot of the standings is taken at the end of the event and this will be the final say on scores. No exceptions.
7. Captains: It is your responsibility to make sure that your crew knows and understands the rules of this event. Captains and crew will be held accountable for any violations of these rules.
8. All ships must stay within the ring of islands. No ship may venture to the back side of any of the indicated islands for any reason.
9. Anyone on record saying anything offensive to any player will be disqualified. This is a skills competition, so save the smack talk and take it to the seas.
10. No form of cheating will be tolerated. Teams will be held responsible for any rules that are broken- No excuses; your team will be disqualified.

Remember: There will most likely always be pirates trying to crash the party and ruin the fun. If there are non registered ships out while the event is in play, those participating will have to deal with it and resume playing.




This event will be held weekly. The event will be timed- One hour.
This is not a battle of guilds, but a skill competition between individual teams and players.
Captains: This is a great way to showcase your skills and put your ship's name on the map.
Gunners: This is a great way to showcase your skills and become one of the most feared gunners to ever SvS.
Teams: This is a great way to work together and show that you can be the best in the game all while practicing good sportsmanship.

Winners will be declared at the end of the competition. Winners will also be posted on this forum for everyone to see.


This event will be held every TUESDAY at 10 PM Eastern Standard Time (this is 7 PM POTCO time) on the DESEREAU server. CAPTAINS please arrive ten minutes prior to the event to be given your side.

I will continue to use this thread and update the first post as needed. You do not have to register for each week. Make changes to your posts as needed to update gunners and substitutes.
