Why Must Peeps Be The Way They Are?

KK this pirate has an issue. Why must peeps act like they know EVERYTHING about POTCO and boss others around? Yesterday while i was out fishing (sailing for those who dont understand Krewe talk), I had a "friend" tp to me without asking. KK no problem with that. I was over by Port Royal and Cuba doing my thang when I get hit up for crew invite. No biggie. It is a friend. Don't mind crewing up with me friends. When out of the blue, I get asked what am I doing. So me replies to me friend, "I am sinking ships".

" But why are you going after small stuff? Head over by Padres for bigger fish and a better challenge."

Huh? Wait a minute, last time me checked THIS WAS ME BOAT NOT HIS!!!!

I reply back "I am happy here."

So me continues to fish me small fish (easier to rank me thinks). So when I start using me skills (Take Cover, Leadership, Open Fire, and me Broadsides), I get asked "Why are you using ur Take Cover and Open Fire on these guys? Head over to Padres for bigger ships and better loot."

Huh? I still on me boat me thinks.

After we ported (full load for a while and some damage done by some pesky Ferrets), he asks if i want to go to a SvS match or PvP with him. I reply back that I didnt want to as nicely as I could. A fellow guildmate comes on and asks if I want to fish with him. I always up for fishing with me guildmates. So I hop back on me boat and me guild mate joins me. I drop crew so I can chat to me mate and I get a rude whisper in return "Fine, see if I tp to you again NOOB sailor."

Huh? Where did that come from me wonders? I reply back in whisper that I was talking with a guild mate and needed crew chat to do so. "Fine" I get in response. "Don't want to sail with a NOOB sailor anyway."

KK Here how I see it, if I am on me boat I get to sail it where I want and go after WHAT I WANT!!!! I dont get on your boat and tell you how to sail or what to go after. I may make a suggestion but that doesnt mean you have to take me advice.

No one made you tp to my boat without asking. Yes I have had friends tp to me while on boat and have asked for me help with some ships. Hey!! No problem. Just means more ships for me to sink and rank with.

If I am on your boat, feel free to go after what U want. I jsut along for the ride. Use whatever skills you want to. The way I see it, if you got the skills then you earned them. Everyone has their way of fishing/sailing. EVERYONE has their way of playing. If you tp to me, DONT TELL ME HOW TO PLAY ME GAME!!!!!

I play this game how I want to play. I play to the style that suits me best. If you want me help, ASK ME THEN. I dont mind helping out. Plz dont tell me how to play me game alrighty. You do that and I wont help you and you will also find yourself removed from me friends list (yes the pirate was removed from friends list after the NOOB remark).

I t really ticked this pirate off yesterday when it happened and as you can see, I still a little ticked about it. It really chaps this pirate's hide when peeps do that and I dont care for it at all.

So me question is WHY MUST PEEPS BE THE WAY THEY ARE?

Your ship...your decisions. That is why I always change boarding to crew only. But, in response, you didn't get to be a Fully Mastered Pirate becuz ya didn't no what ya were doin...So, ya did the best thing by booting said pirate out of crew & off your ship. People are people no matters in RL or in-game. So, just pirate on the way that is best for you...

IMO its the NOOB sailor who thinks you have to sail against the large ships.
Its the NOOB sailor that doesnt realize you get credit/reps for using those skills against smaller targets just as well as you do the larger targets.
Its the NOOB sailor who thinks they know more than everyone else and tries to force their will upon others.

I wouldnt worry about it, in fact, id "ignore" and remove that pirate from my list, as im sure you'd rather use that friend slot for someone much more pleasant to play the game with.

Happy sailing.. Oh and btw.. as far as questing is concerned, those little ships are by far better to target.. gets the job done quicker.

You are right Li to sail the way you want after mastering a pirate and close to mastering a second finding a way to keep this game fun is hard and you need to take a different approach to how you play the game you have been there done that with fighting big ships only to have to port often for repairs and collect shinney. I know you don’t need the shinney and using take cover even on small ships is what keeps you on the water and gets you on the leader boards for ships how can someone come along and tell you that you not doing it right if you find joy in the way you play the game it is a shame that peeps that don’t appreciate the way you play don’t just say I need to do something else and say have fun and go their way.
