Which movie do you prefer? The Curse of the Black Pearl or Dead Man's Chest?

I like the second better, it was much more humorous.

I liked the second movie. I have yet to see the first movie.

Ducky Wucky: I really like the second also because of the fighting. There were a few fighting scenes in the first, but not as much in the second.

The second one was much more creative and well-thought out. I mean just look:

sword fights on giant rolling windmills
shipmates captured and put in giant rolling balls that end up rolling down a hill
Jack tied to the stick trying to get out with the shish-ka-cob (sp?) part
The game they played with the dice
Graphics much improved
Many more characters

Jack Sparrow (LOVE HIM!)
Will Turner (HIM TOO)
Elizabeth (PLAYED THAT PART SOO GOOD!)
Barbosa *how do you spell his name?* (SCARED ME)
Undead monkey (AWW!)
**can't i pet him?? Please?!?! what do you mean undead?? AH! RUN!**
The two pirates (Hilarious! will that one pirate ever deal with the whole - eye - issue?)

POTC 2:
Jack Sparrow (Still out there.. Still LOVE HIM!)
Will turner (<3)
Elizabeth (Better in this movie. just a tad)

I'd say POTC 2. It was because of that movie I am now more hooked on Pirates than ever!

POTC2 was a lot better, in my opinion. I don't really know how to explain why... I guess I liked the story better, or something :/

They were both very different. So I wouldn't be able to pick. And also because I just liked them both so much!

The first movie was less fighting because they had to introduce the characters. So MAYBE slightly I like the 2nd more. Only because I love fighting.

So many reasons to love both movies (the first being the original, which makes it the best), but I really think that the prevailing movie was the 2nd.

I think that Johnny was probably given more creative freedom, considering how well the first one did, and I think it really shows in the movie.

I think that the first movie was kinda like an introduction to the world of the Pirated Carribean.
The second movie explores that world.

I can't even remember the first one, and I watched the second one about 5 times on the plane home from WDW.
I remember the second was best though.

I wonder what happens next.. "Would you be willing to go to lands end to rescue Captain Jack Sparrow?" He was in a Krakens mouth last time I heard! LOL.

I always bring my pirate movies with me on plane rides. It passes the time away.

The second movie was just all around funny. It was also nice seeing Elizabeth fight and take out all those pirates!
