Known Issues - September 12, 2008

• Some players are experiencing problems when trying to update Pirates Online after downloading it for the first time.
  • Workaround:
    1. Navigate to the PiratesOnline directory on your computer and delete the file named hash_data.
    2. Launch Pirates Online again, and you will be able to finish updating the game.
    3. Log in!

Wow that's not many known issues.
Hopefully people will know what to do when downloading it for the first time.
The known issues would be the last place i'd look.

I have to agree with you Mac. I'd hope that they'd actually put a link to this on the download page. Doesn't really sound like a "game" issue to me if you can't actually play the game because of it.
