The Helm - crew/guild Idea! - Pirates of the Caribbean Online Fansite & Forums

was wondering what all you thought of creating a crew/guild called "the Helm" named after this little forum

I know we cant created guilds yet but was thinking we should maybe set up a few meeting times and spots where pretty much we can all try to connect and chat a bit in-game. maybe come up with some times and then try to set up a more permanant meeting time after we get a nice group going and we can work out more details amongst everyone interested.

I would like to avoid meeting in port royal or tortuga cause that seems to be where most of the game play is located these days. I was thinging about creating teh meeting spot in the town on the island all the way to the south (i think its Padre del Fuego) that has a fort and dock on it so people can still do things there while we wait for others to join and such.
[edit -make sure you play on the 4th sea!]

i play mostly in evenings so I would suggest two times 6pm PST(9 EST) and 9PM PST(midnight EST) but if some one would be willing to "host" a earlier meeting that would be great!

Lets try meeting Starting tonight (monday 5/7) at the time listed above EVERY NIGHT this week to see how many of us can get-connected! you can come to one meeting or all but the beauty of this is hopefuly you will always find other "helm" members there!

Yes, it is Del Fugo. Lets meet At one of the highest fort places.
1. Teleport to PDF. (Pedro Del Fugo.) (misspelled?)
2. Go as far right as you can, getting to the shipright.
3. There should be a rock opening. Go there.
4. There should be a rock ramp to the fort wall just on your right. Go to it.
5. Go up the stairs to your LEFT, and then at the top of those go up the ramp to your right!
6. There you go.

Hope others come! Post if you will!

EDIT: We meet in the 4th sea, right?

Are you sure that's where you want to meet? In the Fort? I was just there and followed your directions to the top of the fort. There were about a dozen soldiers up there and I barely escaped with my life.

It would be better if we met in town where we could converse witout having to fight. I like the orignal idea of meeting in town.

Did anyone meet up last night? I agree with Ben, in town is the best idea - no running around to try and see if there are people there. Is there a good landmark that can be used as a spot? Then you can easily see if there are people from the Helm there or not without tooling around the area looking for people.

Well i did show up but only met one person who had not even known about this board. the fort is pretty easy to get to the safe spot on the top corner you just need to run fast but i do agree the town is much safer especially for beginners.

The MEETING SPOT WILL BE in the section of town closest to the Shipwright ; there is a nice little courtyard there. hope to see some people there tonight!

Ok for now on we will meet on sea 6 on Padre del Fuego in the town courtyard closest to the shipwright. times are currently 9pm and 12 midnight EST or 6 pm and 9 pm PST.

If only I could make it. I have other obligations that prevent me from being there at those times this month. I'll keep an eye out for the crew in June though.

Great meeting last night! It was nice talking to Bad Pete and Grandpa. We tried to sail away after you left, Grandpa, but I got stuck floating in the sky. See you all again soon!
