Valuables - What to do? - Pirates of the Caribbean Online Fansite & Forums

I've gone through 10 levels and collected a bag full of Valuables and Odds-n-Ends. I can't see anything documented in the guide and don't seem to be able to interact with these items.

Useless baggage or will they eventually be good for something?

Right now you can't do anything with it... But hopefully they'll add some trading.

So right now they're just there to look pretty?

It would be cool if in the future they make it so you can use them in game as like a tool - like you might be able to get some extra secret information or tips from NPCs if you offer them something they like, like an emerald or something.

It will be interesting to see what the POTC crew ends up doing with them.

You get the amount of money they're worth when you you defeat the enemy that gives them to you, but other than that, nada

Right now it's just pretty stuff to look at. Except the cards. You can cheat in poker or blackjack with them.

the treasures give gold i thought it did nothing at first the rare ones r worth 100 gold

Aye, items have a value in gold, yet there is no place to sell them to collect such 'value' that im aware of.

I wish that you could do something with the gold teeth. I mean, they're suppose to have a treasure map on them according to Jack.

Well I believe these treasures have 2 purposes.

Currently they act as an additional means to gain notoriety (25pts an item), and gold.

The story behind them gives Disney some storyline to build quests on in the future as well. Like the example you've given.
