Ok I understand we have two new islands.
We have two new entries into the POTCO world Spanish / French.

But I dont understand what the deal is about picking a side?

Assuming such tactics would be done solely for PVP purposes (where would it apply in the regular potco world?). Selection of a side likely would pose various skill/strength differences, etc. Where as "choosing a side" wisely would be based on ones offensive/defensive preferences.

My question is, is it "Wise" to choose a side before having or knowing any of the pros/cons of each 'side' ??? Considering the game doesnt even let us choose a side yet that I am aware of.

I guess im just an old fart.. but I fail to see the point..

IM with you on this. I fail to see the point as well. Thats why I am hoping I can remain neutral.

Isn't this for the PvP ship to ship combat? You'd have to pick a side so that ships, even fleets, can battle it out.

Yes, i'd understand it from that perspective, except that if one was actually to be "wise" about deciding, one would wait until the actual differences from side to side were determined, before selecting one. Unless its purely a matter of preference.

I figure alot of the time I just miss stuff, or just dont get it.. hehe (old age).

maybe since you turn to undead on pvp you turn in to an undead of that island?

I have no idea, but I don't quite understand how to start the whole new ship battle thing..

I think its just preference. If this it PvP then the abilities would change constantly. I have noticed tho that the French Undead and skellys are a lot more powerful than the Spanish - but to me the Spanish just look better.

And I was wondering about that issue myself Banshe - do you turn undead during these fights? We'll have to see...

I'm not sure as it isn't out yet, but my guess is that we will have to pick a side per PVP battle. I don't think it's a permanent thing. Perhaps. ??
